Agudelo films Olympic commercial for Kelloggs http://www.nj.com/hobokennow/index.ssf/2012/03/new_york_red_bulls_player_resi.html
Great find! [Edit: This thread, I mean. ] Here's hoping our pre-Olympic soccer team becomes our Olympic soccer team!
Are you saying that because you know it could be from some inside info or because any injury *could* be serious?
Worried about Juan's injury, but not too worried on the field with Terrence Boyd there to replace him.
He's never been a true center forward anyway. He's much more effective coming off the wing. And with Shea and Gyau, the US is fine there. This is really where Boyd can excel.
Agree. In a 4-3-3, he's better suited on the wing, but he's certainly capable at CF, especially against CONCACAF competition. For all we know, Porter might prefer Boyd starting at CF ahead of Juan anyways.
Well fortunately we have four forwards on the roster. Boyd Bunbury Taylor Agudelo But if Agudelo is out for the tournament then that is just a whole lot of bad.
I have watched these guys over and over. I know people say he is not a center striker but he is the best striker on this team. Especially against a hard team.
Unfortunately injuries happen. If Juan is out for the tournament, one of the other guys like Boyd is gonna have to step up. I still have full confidence that this group has the ability to qualify. It'll all come down to that do-or-die semifinal, when anything can happen.
I'm not doubting you. Just that perhaps forward or wing is our deepest position. If Perry Kitchen or Ike Opara were hurt we would be looking at this.... Villafana----Valentin---Opara/Kitchen---Sarkodie --------------Okugo------S. Williams At least Agudelo has warm bodies players behind him.
