y'know, i've seen vermaelen in the attack (with very positive contributions, even ignoring the goal) more often than i did when he was playing left-back.
walcott -> gervinho rosicky -> oxlade-chamberlain would be nice. (er, i see walcott -> gervinho just happened.) rosicky looks out of gas.
I noticed Nasri picked up a card, seemingly right after the goal. Does anyone know if it was for celebrating? Because it's kind of funny to think he forgot how to properly celebrate given how much time he's on the bench.
i know what you're saying, scally. but, in general, after he carries the ball out of the back, he runs straight for the box for a header/scoring opportunity. multiple times today, i've seen him stay just outside the box to be part of the link up play (and doing it very well). my other point was that he didn't do much of either as a left-back.
