I saw that, but I took it as people had said they were official. If those are a real color way I will be buying my first vapors since the V's.

with regards to the picture of the Vapor VIII i can assure they are real as i took the picture from the catalogue myself. as far as info goes i have none as the store i work at is not a soccer store and we don't get the full nike soccer catalogue and the only picture of vapors was that one which marked the beginning of the soccer section of the catalogue. don't know if they are cr7 or regular colorway all i know is they look like kanga lite much more than the other vapor VIII i've seen.

 

It's not my position to tell anybody. I'm not the one who will be announcing it so just wait and see. BE PATIENT!

 

Im guessing the big announcement was the reveal of the Vapor VIII on soccerreviews? Which again, we've already seen pics of it, so a bit overhyped if that's it. Or was it the bit in the reveal about the "Nike pro" sg stud pattern?

 

The only announcement that would excite me is if they halved the price of the SG-PRO's!!

 

Couldn't agree more! I'm guessing the Nike Pro is taking the place of the elite series, hopefully it doesn't take it's place price wise!

CR is wearing the vapor 7 fg sole, fantastic! Nike has come up with another sole plate that no one wants... maybe it's cheaper to use less studs. Notice the new black/orange ctr with an elite sole plate in the background.. probably khedira.

 

No its not the vapor 7 soleplate, its the 8 with 4 back studs.
Cristiano is one of many players wearing the vapors, everyone else so far has opted for the new soleplate. Not to mention there could be various reasons why he opted for the traditional 4 back studs, some of which have nothing to do with the actual product. A quick side note, reguardless of the brand and not including the Nike Elite series, do you really believe that some pros are wearing the same exact product you and I buy in stores?
