No season tickets in the mail yet either. Though I believe the FO guys saying at the AGM during the Q&A about the tickets coming somewhere around the 14th of March. Let's hope it's not like last season where they were delivered to most folks the day BEFORE the home opener. That would be some SERIOUS ->
They are going to be mailed out via USPS Priority mail on March 12. At least that's what I read on the Section 8 board. If that's accurate then we should have them at least a week before the home opener on the 24th.
Everyone is right. If you buy them after the big ticket run, you get the standard ticketmaster quality tickets and you get them instantly. I once bought season tickets a few days before the season and they printed them up on the spot while I waited. If you ordered tickets a while back, you will get the big cool looking tickets which will be out the week of March 12.
You may have blocked out your section/row, but we still know what gate they say you should enter! Also, price level. Watch out.
I worked out a pro-rated plan mid-season last year and I had those generic tickets too. Yesterday I got the e-mail confirming the shipping date of March 12. It had pictures of the tickets and I must say they look really nice.
No, just saying, so the earliest they could aannouce the TV schedule is on Monday (5 games before the first game). Tweed Thornton said it was 7 days before our 2011 season that they annouced our TV schedule. This year it's even going to be later.
This is sad, we are the only team in the league that hasn't announced there TV schedule. Five days to our first game and still NO news on our TV schedule.
Evan Whitfield just tweeted he would be doing the color again this year. And apparently some people just got word that the schedule would be out tomorrow or Wednesday. Probably embargoed.
For those that don't read the Section 8 board the rumor is that the games are going to be shown on CN 100, Comcast's proprietary local station. This will basically keep anyone without Comcast from being able to watch the games. If true this is a terrible decision, not only because it won't be available to satellite customers but I'm guessing most people that have Comcast probably don't even know what CN 100 is.
At this point I'll wait until an official announcement is made before I jump to conclusions. I'll just say that if this is true it would a terrible move. So terrible that I have a hard time believing it can be true. It sounds like we should hear something definitive today or tomorrow.
