He was killed because he hasn't paid the late fees on renting the video from back in 2008. Hollywood Video's bankruptcy administrator is a tough SOB.
Not true. NYMag.com found the real video libs are trying to hide. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGBw8jS3sMw"]SNL's Garrett Morris- Gonna Get Me a Shotgun - YouTube[/ame] http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2012/03/fabled-obama-race-video-surfaces.html?imw=Y
Wow, Breitbart advancing the 'reverse-racism' canard from beyond the grave. This is soooooo shocking. Harping on reverse racism is the new racism (thanks Bill). Breitbart was a racist. There are very few people who aren't better off now that his body stopped supporting his hate machine of a mind.
Like the other guy said, that's the original, not the improved version Breitbart was going to release containing what Obama meant to say.
I haven't seen the video but from your description....this was about the whole Professor Bell controversy, correct?
Yep. And apparently the right is using this video and will depict Bell as Che Guevara. You know, another terrorist he palled around with.
It sucked - they got rid of the 24 hour student smoking lounge in the library the year before I got there.
I suppose the point of the Obama/Bell video is to show how unwilling the old media was to vet Obama. If there was a video of McCain or if there's a video of Romney praising a controversial man like Bell, it would have been on the news 24/7. It also adds to list of questionable characters Obama is associated with. By the way, I beleive there will be more videos coming next week. I'm assuming they are saving the bigger stuff for last. Just a hunch.
Hannity proudly proclaimed his 'exclusive' (as if old news can be an exclusive) as the 'unedited' video. This proved to me that Breitbart is not just nearly dead but really, truly, clearly dead.
The only way these mythical tapes could live up the the breathless billing of the Foxies is if Obama is drinking kvass with Mikhail Bakunin
I suppose you have read many of his publications and speeches and are familiar with his views of private rights, capitalism, etc... If not, you are talking out of your @ss. Additionally, what you find questionable and what others find questionable can be entirely different things. I know almost nothing about the man. I am currently drawing NO conclusions about him. He may be nothing more than a routine college professor, or some of his comments and actions may fall into the Ward Churchill category. How did you react to the Duke lacrosse "rape" case? Did you find anything "questionable" about that stripper's claims before the truth started to come out?
You mean like if, for instance,PBS' Frontline had aired video from the same event back in 2008 as part of the in-depth documentaries they do on every presidential candidate? http://www.mediaite.com/tv/pbs-editors-frontline-ran-president-obama-college-video-in-2008/
The level of desperation in this attempted smear is embarrassing. I watched Sarah Palin on Hannity rambling about this, she also used the talking point key words & phrases: not properly vetted, questionable associations, more videos coming, yadda yadda yadda. It boils down to this. Obama has been in office for 3 years and has provided plenty of record on which to evaluate him. Reasonable people may disagree on many of his actions as President, but no reasonable person is going to look at his record and conclude anything involving the word radical. In fact, it's a stretch to call the President far-left or even liberal. So to keep its base worked up and frothy, the right wing media machine promotes this idea that Obama is a secret radical. He can't be judged on his stated agenda nor his platform. He can't even be judged on his record -- unless you understand that record in the right context. That context of course is his history of association with (supposedly) radical, racist, socialist, terrorist, whatever people. Once you understand that deep down inside all his thinking is informed by hatred of the US and its institutions, then you can correctly interpret the clues in his very moderate record to see the veiled radical socialist anti-white anti-American agenda lying underneath. In short, it's classic conspiracy theory sprinkled through with good doses of ignorance and fear of black intellectualism.
So, let's look at the plan, shall we? 1. Chevy Volt. 2. Solyndra. 3. Hugging a tenured Harvard Law Professor. Wow. That should do it republicans. Great strategery.
To me he will always be the pompous sports anchor of KTLA - 5 in Los Angeles, since that's the last time I watched him regularly.
