Just bought 2 general GA endline tickets for $78 each - god bless ebay! For those of you who want to bid on tickets but don't have time sitting at your computer all day watching the auctions, try an auction sniping program (like http://www.jbidwatcher.com/ -it's free); what the program does is keep track of the auctions you are interested in - you input a maximum bid amount that you would be willing to go up to, and then 30 seconds before the auction closes, the program submits your max bid to ebay, where the item's highest bid will automatically go up to that max value you have placed until either someone who is willing to pay a higher max bid outbids you, or you win the auction for the item at the lowest price possible. Lol I would say the same thing but I only added that after people kept PMing me with ridiculously lowballing prices (Whoever offered me $20 piss off you cheap bastard! ). I wanted at least my money back . EDIT: Okay sold it offline for a good offer.
I entered HDC around 5:20 yesterday, checkers were not scanning tickets, they looked, tore off barcode, and that's all.
they were scanning at 4-4:30. my guess is that the scanners got wet and stopped functioning perfectly and/or tickets got wet and weren't reading perfectly, and with lines for a record-setting crowd getting longer and longer, they decided to take their chances on people trying to use duplicate tickets. but just a guess. a little bit of rain will usually bring L.A. to a standstill, so it had to be the weather.
