look at the tiempos they are clearly not fake and if those vapors are fakes then the quality they are made at is amazing with soleplates like that!
loads of fakes have the soleplate some tech specs from PDS http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/articles/nike-mercurial-vapor-viii-football-boots.aspx
Where can I get the Nike NZT stickers for the old Total 90's. The ones you put on the back of the heel. I've looked everywhere and the only place I found didn't have my number
ok what ever only passing on pics for others....again the tiempo clearly arent fakes and the mixed stud soles look genuine.
^^^ The Legend's are the real deal. As for the Vapors i'm not sure as it's a boot that doesn't interest me what so ever. I thought there was a White/Green Elite when pics came around last Oct, and these current just confirm that.
eBay will probably be your best bet now. Maybe they will look better in the flesh, but I'm not that impressed with the new vapors. They seem a bit bland. You think that Nike would want to make them a bit more eye popping. I just find them boring. I'd be interest to try out the new sole plate and stud lay out but that's about it. Do we know how much the RRP is yet? appleCORR
Boring are you joking??? this is what most have been calling for, for too many years the Mercurial line was overdone. About time they went back to basics.
agree with junglist. The best looking boot ever was the MVIII imo, and it was pretty simple. Starting with the V, it looked like Nike was just trying too hard with all the graphics and such. Not gonna lie, I haven't wanted a boot this much in a long time.
its the one thing I find really frustrating with buying boots in the speed category the upper seems fairly similar to the current vapor and the main difference; but you don't get any experience of that until you purchase the boot...doesn't make sense to me
Nope they're either fake or photo shopped. Numerous sources including soccer.com twitter page has stated that there will be no more elites. Not to mention I believe the green on the green/white colorway isn't quite that dark.
What are peoples views on the FirmGround layout, as i'm about skeptical about two studs at the rear of the boot. Surly on a hard pitch the pressure is gonna be huge.
I wore just on 3g a pair of sg elite ctr's, I've brought some rubber sonico studs for them, and i didn't have stud pressure, seems fine the thing that was missing in the overall feel imo was a middle stud which obviously a sg plate doesn't have so I think the two studs at the back shouldn't be an issue
