Pretty much straightforward. There has been a ton of discussion over the deal MLS made with NBC in the News and Analysis board.

I would if I had cable... or if it were streaming... or if it were on Xbox live.

Brek Shea v. Thiere Henry? David Ferreira v. Rafael Marquez? The speed of Castillo v. the speed of Richards? Kevin Hartman v. ...err...who plays goalie for the Red Bull?

The inaugural MLS game on an NBC station in front of a packed FCD home crowd?

Wouldn't miss this one for the world.

I believe that Rafa Marquez is suspended for that game

Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand how anybody can say they are a fan of MLS but not do everything they can to watch this.

YOu want channels to keep fighting over MLS rights, we need to have strong enough ratings.

You want the league to continue to grow, we need stronger ratings.

You want more mainstream acceptance of MLS, ratings again.

Plus, it's been a long time since MLS Cup. I don't care who's playing, I'm watching every MLS game I possibly can.

My thoughts exactly. I've already looked through the schedule to figure out which games I should watch and how many I can squeeze in. I have to wait an extra week to watch my Fire but I will watch every game possible on DK that first weekend.

Yes, but then again I probably watch more than 2 thirds of all MLS action

If I sat down and thought about it I probably watch around half the games. Add in the EPL games in the morning it's not unusual for me to watch 6 or 7 complete games in a weekend when both leagues are in season.

I'll be watching it in person. :)

(And DVRing it too. I am definitely excited to see how professional the whole presentation is. Hopefully it'll be a game I'll want to watch again...)

The production quality of their NHL broadcast improved dramatically when NBC took over for Versus. I'm optimistic they will just as good a job for MLS.

1 week to go and I can still get 4 tickets together in row 3 at midfield. Uhh. Please FC Dallas, don't ruin MLS' debut with a non-soldout stadium

I'll be watching this so long as I don't go to the Sporting KC game v. DC. I've been slapped with weekend duty next weekend so I will most likely be home and able to watch it. I too am one of those people who watch over 2/3 of MLS games. Simply cannot get enough of this league.

I love LOVE this league. It's been a part of my life since I was 11. I try and watch almost every game I can. Can not get enough.

According to an interview with the MLS Director of Digital Strategy Chris Schlosser, NBC is not prepared to stream the NBCSN games from the beginning of the 2012 season, but there are hopes to get something in place for later in the year.

(like most games/sports, there likely will be live un-official streams available at varying levels of not that great quality.)

Ha, amateurs at best. Try watching all the MLS games you can plus getting up at 4:30 in the morning to watch my Soccer in India via live stream. Oh ya!

Just kidding. I love this league. I try watching as many Red Bulls games on MSG and MSG + as I can plus the game on NBC or NBC Sports every week and the MLS teams in Champions League. Some people say the league is slow, I just say its perfect soccer where you can see the future of America and the past legends of yesterday.

Oh and obviously I will watch my Red Bulls play FC Dallas at a SOLD OUT FC DALLAS STADIUM! Yes, that is right, I predict a sell-out.

I know all too well about the waking up early business. Was stationed in South Korea for 7 months. I remember waking up countless times to watch Spurs at 2-3-4 in the morning, and the USMNT as well during the Gold Cup. Well worth it though.

    I hear that mate.

I was actually in India when Arsenal tied Barcelona 2-2 in 2010. Best moment of my life at 2:45 in the morning.

Yea. I'd watch the first MLS game of the year on any channel. It will be another year of driving 150 miles each way to each game in Houston, flying/driving to some road games, and watching about 80% of the MLS league games on whatever TV is available and MLSLive (recorded most of the time). Plus all games with MLS teams in CCL.

It will cut into my La Liga, Bundesliga, Seria A & Brazilian Soccer -- but I'll still watch all the UEFA CL games. I'm trying to add CopaLibertadores to my watching schedule now.

We don't have that channel in our satellite package and no internet, so it's a no-go for me.:(

    Haughty derision it is...

There's this magical place called the internet where you can watch things your package doesn't include.

EDIT: And to be OT, yes I will most certainly be watching it. I'm going to go into a soccer coma this coming weekend.
