Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here Has anyone seen the Pele Sports 1970's on sale or clearance? I'm curious to try them, but don't want to pay full price for such an unknown boot. Also has anyone here played in them or even tried them on?
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here Thank you for your reply - appreciate the insight.

Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here Sports Direct also do.
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here Tried them on, they are insanely comfortable but apart from that they're your typical no nonsense leather boot. Pretty heavy too! Nothing unexpected.
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here I tried them on and found the fit kind of odd. like the fit reminded me of T90III's, which I don't know if anyone really like. For those who do the sock cutting, what type of sock do you sew back on? Here are your choices (for Nikes that is) or what sock specifically would you recommend?
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here Anybody know where to get some nice AG boots in the US besides Soccer.com?
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here you sew them back together? i cut my sock, wear either a sports sock or a thin past your ankle in length sock and tape them together
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here my friends sewed them back together, but I guess taping them makes sense too...
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here This
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here I know people who do sew them, but for me.. It makes more sense to just tape. You can then choose different socks every week if you choose and I think it looks better. But then looks don't really matter.
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here Is there any difference between the F30 chameleons, and the F30 TRX? I'm not sure of which one I should get.
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here for those talking about the old white sock/tape thing.. why not save hassle and get these, http://www.stanno.com/uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage-ask.tpl&product_id=3912&category_id=26&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=50
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here I've tried something like that before, the strip on the bottom that goes around your foot doesn't feel right.
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here i thought the same, then i thought just put the white sock over it, or snip it till its a better solution then just snipping up your nike socks, and they are pretty cheap too, and stanno make quality stuff
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here I much prefer just wearing stocking socks anyway. I purposely stopped wearing elasticated things like that cos it just felt weird. You can buy Nike socks for like £4 really, not too expensive and mine have lasted me all season.
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here Does anyone know how to fix ripped eyelets (lace holes) on a boot'? the top eyelet on my laser II's are ripping, Haven't ripped completely through, but still ripped none the less. Is there any way to fix this without taking it to a cobbler? The same thing happened to one of the eylets onthe other side of the boot, and i just sewed it back myself and then used shoe goo to reinforce the stitched part, and then on the underside of the stiched part which the lace would cut into. but i don't think this is a permanent fix, so does anyone have any suggestions
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here I have a rare opportunity at some old adidas f50's, the bad ass spider webs. however i've never owned them but have always loved their look. so, i was wondering if anyone knows how they compare in size to other boots you've worn. any and all information much appreciated. many thanks.
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here That honestly seems like all you can do, unless you took it to a professional.
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here would getting metal eyelets work? or would it be too late considering it has already ripped almost all the way through
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here just drill new holes, that's what i did. use a screwdriver and a stanley knife
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here how well would that hold up though, assuming that they've already ripped the orginal one (once on both sides), would a new hole really last that long if i don't get a metal eyelet or something?
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here Newbie question about studs. Does anyone with soft-ground football boots just screw in firm-ground studs when the ground hardens? I know it can be done but is it a good idea (looking to save some money) or would it more likely lead to injuries or discomfort? My boots are 8-studded SG Mizuno Morelias. Thanks for any replies
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here I assume it should be able to be done because the f50 tunits use the same system. I'm guess you after something like: http://www.acasports.co.uk/index.php?cPath=40_281
Re: General boots question/review thread [5] - all questions/reviews pictures on any boot brand here Thanks for the reply and the link, I've gone ahead and got a pack of FG studs to try. I assume they'll be fine, I just couldn't find much info on players who simply change studs to suit the conditions, most just said they owned 2 pairs of boots (a SG pair and a FG pair). Cheers
