    I'd like a link too to the game if anyone has one. Watched it a pub with a friend. Would love to see it again!

    Thanks in advance.

    Love the picture. One thing we have going for us is that for all of our failures, at least some of the team really cares.

    Glad to hear it mate.

    Funny thing is that wasn't actually meant as a moan.

    It was a sarcastic sigh of relief...just a little fun, on how opinions had changed during the match....no harm intended.

    I was on 3 hours sleep since 5am Saturday, and just had a feeling after 30 mins or so, that there was something special about to happen, so I stopped reading the thread after that point....so I could concentrate on watching it unfold.

    Could barely keep my eyes open by 6am Sunday....so I didn't have time to punctuate with emoticon smiley thingies....

    Had I done so, it would have read more like this...

    Ah well, still a great day, and if it makes you feel any better Tel, I'm just off on my way to work. (insert smiley poke out tongue thingey)

    I kind of did the same thing, though I can't say the feeling I had was very optimistic. But I wanted to just watch the game, without being influenced by anyone else's comments, and without the risk that I might do any moaning and whining to anyone else (though I admit there was plenty in my head). I haven't even read any of the in-game comments, and I at this point I don't see any need to.

    It's been a long time since an Arsenal match has left me this happy for this long. Question for those Gooners who actually like, you know, are able to attend matches -- was this the best match at the Emirates so far? I imagine the win over Barcelona last year was special, but this was the derby, and we sent them packing!

    Anyone know where I can find highlights?

    YouTube is policed militantly by the EPL. Can't find an actual working vid on there.

    I understand where you are coming from, but some accused Maradona of being lazy too........ My point is that Arshavin did what he was bought for. he set up a decent amount of goals and he scored a few as well. He got a huge knock on his confidence when he was left out of the starting eleven. yes he was a luxury player but when you had Cesc and Song working hard in midfield it worked. Unfortunately with Ramsey and Walcott he may be a luxury too far, but I still stand by my comment that I think we would be a better side with him instead of Walcott.

    On Ramsey, agreed. He has had a year back after what was an awful injury and there are too many expectations on him. Will he prove to be as good as we need him to be? We won't know for another season I don't think. It hasn't helped that Wilshire has been out.

    Agreed, he has been very good the past few games. but what chance has he had before this? 20 mins here and a run out against whoever in a Cup? Given the chance I think he will be back to his best. He is a great technical player and has a fantastic eye for a pass. If you look at the stats he has more completed crosses than Walcott this season in about a third of the amount (I think Walcott has something like 17 completed crosses to another Arsenal player out of 114 - which is utterly dreadful).

    I hope Wenger doesn't decide his legs are done with and boot him out like he did Pires et all. Getting rid of experience is Wengers biggest fault.

    Arshavin has done fucc all for a year. Only the goal against Barca and the set up for Henry. I doubt anyone else can remember anything else he has done for the last 12 months because I cant.

    There was not going to be any moment of magic or anything out of the blue on a consistent enough basis to make him keep-able. He has not shown it. He did not need to play at the club anymore. I am really struggling why people are upset at him being sold. I can see if you are upset we didnt replace him in January, but to cling on the wish that he would do something for the club. I just dont get it. Meanwhile Rosicky stepped in often and helped the club when it needed it. He was the best player against United last month. Stepped in to sure the midfield up against Aston Villa. In fact our best performances this season have come with Rosicky in the midfield. He def deserves to be playing over Arshavin.

    And im sorry, but Cesc wasnt a hard working in the midfield.

    No way I could catch this live so I just watched it on DVR.... WOW!

    I was literally nodding off after 10 mins but managed to keep eyes open when things picked up towards the end of 1T. Once Sagna scored at 39' I was wide awake... I could see total desire & belief in the lads from then on.

    RVP was typically pivotal, having a hand in nearly every goal. But my main praises go to:

    * Rosicky
    * Benayoun
    * Song

    At risk of sounding like M. Wenger, we showed great spirit and determination when we were down 0-2.

    BUT the hallmark of this year's side is: NEVER NEVER GIVE UP!

    It's a noble trait and sometimes, like today, pays off in spades.

    Man of the match: Tomas Rosicky.

    Great performances from Arteta and Song.

    Benayoun was a pleasant surprise.

    RVP was RVP.

    I thought Gibbs was good. If he can stay healthy he's going to be a really good fullback. (But we all knew that already)

    Hopefully Theo can take this match and pick up some consistency.

    Adebayor (pretender). Parker (Pretender). Bale (Pretender). F--k these guys.

    It is doable, consider the heinous amount of money Pool have spent on "talent" and they should smash us. Lucky, the players they bought with that money have been rubbish, and i think we can win 2-1 or 3-1.

    St Tottenfags Day may come late this year lads, but like a nun in a cucumber field its coming!

    Kirby and I were laughing hysterically at the priceless looks
    on their faces. Should make for an excellent snapshot with creatively

    The BEST thing about that goal for me was the losers of DC Sp*rs having sang that song inveighing us to stick Sol Campbell up our ass, because they've "got Ledley at the back"; when they launched into that song, I just KNEW he would cock up somehow. They sang the same thing mere seconds before he gave up that penalty to Balotelli a few weeks ago. Stupid Scum; they never learn. :D

    North London is ours, the Lucky Bar is ours, and soon, once again, St. Totteringham's Day is ours. Live with that. Arsenal 'til I fucking die.
