    The look really good!

I always thought that the black/volt superflies were one of the best colourways though.

^^^ For me the best SFI color ways were:
    1) Platinum/White/Red
    2) Orion Blue
    3) Red/Silver/Black
    4) Yellow/Black
    5) Black/Yellow

    Just my opinion though.

Comedian hu? lol. I could post tons of SL's or Adidas that i have, since i mean my universities were sponsored by both Nike and Adidas. But I had those Valsport's when i was 16, and finally found them again, which is why i'm so excited! Plus i really love the quality and how they feel when i dribble or trap a pass.

Valsport produced (don't know about the current ones) quality k-leather boots in classic style. It's not a big name like Adidas or Nike but I used to see a lot of people wearing them, especially Italians, in Toronto, Canada.

I always wanted to try a pair of Valsports (and Hummel, Patrick and P d'Oro boots as well).

Alas, due to marketing, a lot of smaller but quality brands get lost through time.

Yeh I think for a time, Valsport had a good Canadian distributor cause it was big in Edmonton as well for a bit.

just got my nike ctr II's in white/purple for $75 (used 4 times). and i've got to say, they are living up to the hype that surrounded them. comfortable straight out of the box, and perfect amount of cushion everywhere

The boot in question is the Valsport ERA......They originally launched around 2003, and they stayed around for about four years. Anelka wore them when he was at City, before switching to Reebok, on contract....Valsport seems/seemed to be Anelka's personal boot of choice, he wore them between contracts at Arsenal, and also when he was at City.

Valsport was way ahead of the curve when it came to colored boots and synthetic uppers compared to Nike or adidas; they just didn't have the marketing budget to make the same splash. I remember wanting their highlighter yellow boots in 1998, but my high school coach said I wasn't allowed to wear them. He flipped out when I had had a pair of green Diadora Brasil's; I ended up not being allowed to wear them either.

Mizuno Morelia Hulk Ultra Light boots and adidas adiPure Anatomic Lite shin pads:

Just laced up and tried on the boots in the house so far but they are super comfy and slipper-like out of the box, feel light in your hands and on your feet, I love the tongue on these its padding is perfect!

The shin pads replace my much loved adidas world cup 2006 anatomic shin pads, I've had them for about 6 years now and they've served me very well, I have more expensive Nike slip-in shin pads and Total 90 ones but I much prefer anatomic shin pads to convetional ones, they are light and offer great comfort and flexability and that suits me perfectly, I think I paid £3.99 from Argos for the World Cup ones and picked these up for £4.99 from PDS such good value!!

Just picked up my Laser IVs. They're actually a really nice boot. Super comfortable. The tongue is really excellent and they are a massive improvement on Laser IIIs in my opinion.
