I agree 100%, which is why I have a ??? and AJD on the right flank position, he isn't big enough for CB. We need a BIG signing for CB to really bolster us. As for CDM, I heard Sarvas is meant to be doing Juninho's job. Juninho was never a true CDM anyway, Beckham and him were standard CM that shared responsibility of going forward and covering back.

This is gonna be great. With Buddle AND Keane AND Donovan, we'll score in the first TEN MINUTES, allowing us to sit back and defend for another 80 minutes (plus extra time).

I don't think we'll have to worry too much about defending when our attack will keep the opposition's D line and midfield occupied by the constant offensive pressure.

I do want some speed/ quickness on the team because we are still lacking in that area, especially on the wings.

As far as the D goes, we have Boyens and Leo to hold the fort plus Meyer and Gaul, I mean Omar played as a rookie, of course with Gregg's on field mentoring, but give Bruce some credit, our D will be fine. Maybe not as good as with Omar out there but it'll be good. If anything Becks and LD usually tracks back to help on D like they did last year (which I don't think those two get enough credit for).

With Bruce, all the players know that it's their responsibility as a team to be constantly aware defensively.

First things first: I want the CCL title. Clearly the front office does too. First MLS club should be us. No Mexican team. No Sounders. No Toronto FC.

I smell that FIFA Club World Cup date. Can you?

Pretty good forecast and manifesting Buddle's return. If only you could of done it for Juninho too.

It would still be nice to shed Barrett's contract, but he's hurt, and it's kind-of an unwritten rule that teams don't cut you if you were hurt in training or in a game. Stephens is relatively cheep and still has unseen upside. You should of known that getting rid of Hejduk's and Kirovski's contracts instead would be, and have been much more effective.

Galaxy fans are the classiest fans, case study number 12,785...

Just think... probably the only time smurf fans ever went to an airport was to pelt Tim Lieweike with tomatos...

I dunno, i've seen it happen a lot. It sucks but business is business. I'd rather see him traded though than cut, he deserves better and it would be nice to get some allocation money for him. Quite a few teams can use a decent striker, and he is decent. We are just on another level now

I always thought Edson's diastema had a uniqueness that made him look cool. Oh well - he'll still look like a bad@ss as long as he's scoring goals.

I didn't mind it, you're right, it was fine. I didn't know it was called diastema - (going to look it up) - - it's just that he looks like a model now. His smile was always 100 watts.

Maybe he's got an eye on Hollywood when his playing days are over...
