Mitt Romney, just now: "Having differences of opinion does not excuse using highly-charged epithets." WOW. Does Mitt Romney remember the guy who spoke on Tuesday about Barack Obama having been a colossal failure?
Re: The GOP Florida Pre/PBP/Post Thread In-Debate I don't think anyone disputes this, at least on the presidential level. A Democratic candidate has to be on good terms with the Jewish lobby to be elected. Obama has worked very hard to remain on side and to allay fears. I hope in a second term Obama would use leverage on both sides to create a settlement. He could not do that in the first term for fear of alienating the Jewish lobby.
Re: The GOP Florida Pre/PBP/Post Thread In-Debate Saw an ad that Dan Rather is doing a play-by-play on HDNet for the Florida primary, might have to check that out tonight.
This thread stopped being interesting when it dawned on everyone that this will be a typical Romney blowout. We need BLOOD in the streets for the rest of the primary season or it won't be worth watching.
Re: The GOP Florida Pre/PBP/Post Thread In-Debate IM is 100% of my ignore list. He fulfills all the criteria: 1) A history of stupid posts 2) A history of lengthy posts And 3) Doing both of these in multiple threads that I like to read, generally ruining them.
Florida was a forgone conclusion, but I don't think it was all that important. The delegate count was halved because the Florida GOP cut the line. Mitt outspent Newt 5:1 in FL, almost all of it in attack ads. Nevada is a different critter altogether. He's only up by 5 in the today's Gallup poll. And both Paul and Santorum have been campaigning there, unlike FL. We'll see...
I've seen one for Minnesota. Gingrich was way ahead, don't know who took the poll and I don't have it handy.
What you'll see is Nevada's sizable Mormom population vote en masse for Romney. Nevada is a foregone conclusion too.
More-Mom: this is probably the most accurate spelling mistake I've ever seen. If it was done purposefully.......well played sir, well played.
