You have got to love his negotiating tactics. He is always in control and never budges. A great chairman, indeed.
a friend of mine from yorkshire is saying that john bostock is going to sign with sheffield wednesday tomorrow ... or i guess is should say that he's posted that on a message board, with no more information than that. as i was presuming that it would be a loan signing, it occurred to me that i was presuming, as well, that he was still on the books at spurs. i know we've loaned him out once or twice (hull and someone else, i think), but he is still ours, right?
here what I can find: 22.33 GMT: Spurs youngster John Bostock is set to join Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the rest of the season.
Regardless of whether he moved or not, Bostock was never going to make it without working harder on the pitch.
Lots of talk about Leandro Damiao and Paris SG, we may have missed the boat on him. Also looks like Dos Santos's agent is still intent on ruining his career, rejecting all offers and looking to stay at the club. Corluka maybe on loan to Leverkusen.
A Daily Mail 'exclusive'. God, I hate this anti-Spurs paper, but they're saying we're in for Adebayor for £8m. Apparently his wages might be a stumbling block. No, really; http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...e-bid-sign-Emmanuel-Adebayor-permanently.html
Bassong and Pienaar to QPR; http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jan/30/sebastien-bassong-steven-pienaar-tottenham-qpr Intersetingly, this report says that Ade's move is unlikely to be made permanent...
Good footballing brain and technique..Was never a popular player in England because he is slow and lazy at times..Pace and hard work is much more appreciated in England though..Srna would have been a great fit to bad he never wanted to leave Shaktar..
If I'm not wrong, GDS only wants to move to Spain now but clubs there are not willing to meet our valuation of him.
i'll be at derby v forest on sunday, as well as wednesday v yeovil on satuday ... so i could be seeing both carroll and bostock this weekend.
07:35: Our man on the spot outside Spurs Lodge claims Wigan contract rebel Hugo Rodallega could play against Tottenham tonight before signing for Harry Redknapp's side after the game. 07:25: Tottenham are hoping a reported offer of £8m will be enough to make Emmanuel Adebayor's move from Manchester City permanent. from sky sports
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/jan/31/transfer-window-deadline-day-live We have apparently completed the signing of Louis Saha from Everton
Can understand us picking someone proven on loan or for peanuts to be our backup striker, with Pav going back to Russia. Unless Damio or Remy were available we were always going to end up with someone like that.
Very odd!! I read we lodged a 18 mill bid for remy which got rejected so we took Saha. Can be good, but as fragile as glass Also I'll assume pav is gone...somewhere right?? more on saha: Tony Barrett reports Louis Saha has signed an 18-month contract with Spurs.
