I agree with everything said in this post except for the need of a good striker. We have all we need @ Spurs right now. Dos Santos barley gets a kick and plus Ade can play now since his loan deal from City banned him from playing in today's fixture. We'll be fine, I hope.

Can't agree with that as United definitely need knocking off their perch. If we don't win it then City all the way for me. We've also got every chance of taking 2nd, United still have to go away to City and to us and their experience doesn't make up for the lack of quality in their squad.

terrible and pityful loss fellas :(
didn't even expect that to happen but after savic hilarious misplaced kick and jd cool finish i knew we'll get something
but it wasn't mean to be ...
still all the lads played (relatively) well, though somehow the cutting edge was missing.
i have to admit that i was totally for NL this sunday, even supporting the goons secretly, just din't want to have mancs going both up at reasonable pts difference.
anyway, let's hope that spurs will rise their spirit quick enough so we'd continue with our fine game series otherwise.

    COYS!

I think Spurs would have won the game had Adebyaor been available. Spurs really miss him.

I don't think Man City outplayed Tottenham though. Sure, there was the few bad minutes leading to the 2 goals but Spurs held their own for much of the rest of the match especially the 2nd half.

It would have almost felt like a victory even with Defoe's near chance to get the winner just before the penalty with the way Spurs worked hard to come back from being 2 goals down.

It would have sucked to see anyone earn a penalty for them and then to make the shot himself but especially a guy that most likely didn't deserve to still be on the pitch.

I didn't watch most of this game as I went to the gym, but having just witnessed the Balotelli incident, it is a clear stamp. Anyone who has played the game will know that. He's going the other way and thrusts his leg backwards, then leaves a second before theatrically falling to the floor.

God, I hate Howard Webb. He's a bag of shite.

There's no doubt we deserved a draw at the least. When City scored the second goal I was like "aww man not this again." But it seemed like we got better as the game went on, we got a bit lucky with Defoe's goal but we were better in possession after we got our breakthrough.

As for Balotelli, he was fortunate that Webb turned away just at that second.

Just to clarify, I am saying that this did not happen Sunday. The first game against these scumbags, we just got beat. Today, we got shafted.

Not that we didn't have our chances, but they did not deserve to win that game. Yes, it was a pen (worst play I've ever seen Ledley make? Yep.), but they should have been down to 9 men by that point.

I feel ya, goose. Loss to Stoke? Shafted by the refs. Draw to Wolves? Shafted by the refs. Loss to City? Shafted by the refs. This is supposed to all even out, right? Because we're down at least four points by my count.

Yep. If anyone it benefits ManU, since they're now in best position to overtake Citeh. I'm still pissed that Lescott didn't get charged, but I reckon he's English and all that, plus no way could Webb have screwed up so bad, right ?

But all that's just crazy conspiracist stuff.

I spent a good 36 hours thinking about this one.

And I'm still just ********ing pissed. That Bale-Defoe move was so unlucky. Balotelli's worse than Nani and De Jong combined.

The loss doesn't really matter all that much to me in the long run, I guess - there's not much difference between 1 point and 0 points. I've been hoping for 3rd all along and our 3rd place ambitions haven't really been damaged.

COYS, let's stick it to Wigan.

Ballotelli actually looks up at Webb to check he's looking the other way before stamping on Parker.

Balotelli's agent has come out and said that Modric pushed Balotelli and that's why he fell over. Uh-huh. And also that if Balotelli continues to feel persecuted he might leave England. That would be a damn shame, that. Don't let the door hit you and all that.

Ballotelli had the audacity to wait for Bale in the tunnel to exchange shirts. R Gareth said a bad word, bless him. Skip ahead to ~13th minute

That had goal written all over it. Defoe royally ********ed that one up and he should have been a hero. ********ing nonsense.Mario is an idiot and all that jazz, but we should have been up and Ledley made a very un-ledley tackle. Nobody, but Defoe and King to blame for this one, but we win as a team and go down as a team and we surely went down on this one.

Pretty awesome video by the way. Well maybe we can get them in the FA Cup or something unless I completely missed that we are out. Still big games ahead and we need to stay focused on staying in the top 4 or we could lose our stars.
