Nope. The amount of money that would be needed for the transfer fee for Lampard will probably be roughly equal to the amount of money the Donovan would bring in at full value. Lampard will ask for far more than the 2 million that Donovan makes and he isn't as marketable as Donovan in the US.

Can someone explain to me why there are all these rumors of Lampard joining Galaxy? How can he? Galaxy have already used their 3 DP slots. Obviously Beckham isn't leaving, Keane isn't leaving (they just got him, lol), and trading Donovan for Lampard would be a stupid business move.
