We're 3-2-0 in our last 5 matches, Man City is 2-0-3 in the same span, including losses to Sunderland and Liverpool (the horror!). SO we're going into this one with the momentum!

Adam Johnson is running his mouth about how he doesn't think they can give us a thumping again, and I dare say he is right. A win is definitely a realistic goal and a draw seems very obtainable.

An away victory here will really keep the title chase from being a Manchester party, while a loss could really give City a big boost and knock us out of the running.

We're still missing Sandro, Huddlestone, and King to injury. Adebayor is also unavailable since Man City's his parent team.

Man City is missing Kompany to suspension and the Toure bros to African Cup of Nations.

The good news is that since Kompany is out we're looking at Savic in the CB position, and he's been pretty much shit.

The bad news is that Micah Richards and Balotelli are (theoretically) back from injury.

SO - I think we can expect a Friedel, Walker, Dawson, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale, VDV, Defoe lineup - probably in the usual 4-4-1-1 fashion.

City will probably play a 4-4-2 with Aguero and Dzeko (maybe Balotelli) up top. If we can hit them on the counter then I think that we can rip apart Barry, Lescott, and Savic through the middle.

Match is on FSC at 8:30 AM (EST).

    COYS!

Your lineup seems right. We can and should be able to control the midfield doing this. They dont have much to throw at our midfield centrally or on the wings.

We will need Parker to do a good job on Silva as he pretty much runs their team when they are playing well. Also, a big job for Dawson and Kaboul to try to handle Aguero.

It can definitely be done and we should be shooting for a win, but I'll be happy to keep pace with a draw.

Heard somewhere that Ledley will be back for this one, which means that either Kaboul or Dawson will be alongside him (preferably Kaboul).

We'll need to be on top form, but hopefully the lads will raise their game after a disappointing result against Wolves.

I'd take a draw if offered right now.

No Sandro would be a big blow, I'd fancy our chances of a result strongly if he was in midfield with Parker against slowarse Barry.

I hope Ledley is fit, a still returning to match fitness Dawson vs Aguero is not going to be pretty.

i heard that Ledley remains a major doubt so i guess we won't see him.
the team suggested by ASF looks pretty good and the best we have available anyway.
although very difficult, a win remains likely. it will be completely different game that what it was in august...
i believe we can get the 3 pts. very much depends on how the game will start.

I have a good feeling about this one, particularly if King and Richards start. Bale will expose Richards big time... Zabaleta is too cagey.

1-0 to the good guys, Defoe does the honors.

No predictions from me. I'll just say that compared to the game in August, it'll be an entirely different kind of game... all together

Would prefer to have a older and more experienced head in defence, hopefully King can play.

I'm anticipating a fast paced, all out, attacking style of a game. It will be a joy to watch, especially if the boys pull out a big win.

I have work 8am-2 so I will be watching it on fox soccer on the 42 inch hdtv and trying my best not to get fired.

If we win I probably will and won't care though.

Good thing I got a Tottenham Flask for Christmas! :)

I'm going to double up on Spurs onesies for the baby, and possibly paint her face for extra good luck.

Where did all of this belief in Spurs come from? :)

Personally, considering it is an away match, a draw is what I'm hoping for. But Modric, vdv, et al. could pull it off...

If we want to stay in the race for the title (say that again!) a win is a must here. I hope our guys show up in top form with enthusiasm to take it to them.

Pulling for a draw in the Man Ure v. Arsehole fixture which keeps them relatively in check.

If King has travelled then is surely starting! Very anxious about this one and I would take a draw, certainly.

As a neutral, I'm really looking forward to this game... who would've thought it - in the past Manchester United vs. Arsenal would be the game all eyes would be on while City vs. Spurs would just be a backdrop fixture, a midtable clash or maybe even a relegation six-pointer but here are City and Spurs 1st and 3rd in the table respectively, each ahead of their corresponding city rival. This will be a real challenge for both teams title credentials...
