3 big clubs, correct? could be circumstantial. He seems better than either of our CBs to me.

Mancini, Heynckes, Loew, Jol, Labbadia all played him on the sides

The trouble is Löw who wants Boateng to play RB so he could do that in the national team, I'm very pissed off about this and Heynckes is only a "burattino" (dont know how to translate in english) of him, we holt Jerome to play CB, its logical otherwise why we signed Rafinha too, but the power wishes him RB, who cares about NT? Löw must find solutions, there're players who can play RB very better than Boateng, 4 example Andreas Beck, or Lahm RB and Schmelzer LB, so the coach of Germany has not to break the balls to Bayern who just give too many players to Germany, of course I'm glad of it but we cannot risk 5 injuries everytime the NT plays a match........

What about the well documented lack of fullbacks in recent years? Couldn't it be possible that Boateng was always more versatile than other defenders and thus was utilized out of position more?
The correlation doesn't imply causation in this case. If he doesn't impress coaches at CB, it's because he's been so consistently shuffled around without an extended chance in the middle, not because he doesn't have the ability.

I think its a matter of coaches taking advantages of his utility. At Hamburg he was pled there circumstantially because the CB positions were clogged and then Löw simply replicated that because we always lack a Lahm equivalent. City was a wrong move for him because they too were clogged in the center and him being a new player wasn't going to be bred in there. And we know the situation at Bayern. I really think a big part of that is circumstance.

I don't see a single 'bomb' transfer here... Like to see an acquisition like Robben/Ribery....

Why would you expect a "bomb" midfielder or striker when the positions are set? We can only buy a bomb defender whatver that means and Howedes who isn't all that good certainly would not be my choice.

I would have been very happy with him 2 years back or maybe last season but the more I see the more "meh" I think of him.

Bayern has the muscle... I really don't want to see them make a 'budget' purchase and buy another player in decline, or someone who shows 'much promise'. Here's a tip. If no other 'real' team wants him, he's probably not 'bomb' transfer material.

.....we chat, chat and chat but we never remember that the FO dont have respect for the fans, me myself typed a letter to Kalle Rummenigge at the beginning of the van Gaal's era but Kalle told me he couldnt do nothing cause evey decision, except Robben, in the transfermarket kind Braafheid or Pranjic was took directly form the coach, so our team sucked so much the last 2 years, I did the same now that we have Jupp als Trainer but Kalle told me the same: him, or Uli or Nerlinger, cant force Heynckes to put Rafinha RB and Boa CB, this is a great trouble, I'm Mitglieder and got a scarf with "MIA SAN MIA" and my name and surname on it, I'm in contact with the FO but they dont care about us (cit-M.Jackson RIP):(

Lewandowski would be a bomb transfer. He's better than Dzeko in my book.

Yes, I'm certain he can't wait to leave Dortmund as one of the stars to be a benchwarmer. :p There is nothing to say that he's an idiot if he makes such a move even though for Bayern it wouldn't be a bad move at all.

For €5mil I would pick up Dante in a heartbeat... To be a fourth CB. Still need to sign another one, Höwedes or whoever.

If we'd sign Dante he'd be not the 4th but the 3rd (or 2nd cause I consider him better than Bads), agree on Höwedes, great great defender, after Hummels the best german CB:)

Dude can seriously write some poetry, that's for sure. And BMG probably *does* feel like being in Purgatory. ;)
