We were on the attacking side almost all half but 0 goals :-( we had some nice chances but need to stop the bad passes!!

More shots, more chances. It's just unfortunate West Brom is playing stellar defense.

Van Der Vaart covered more ground than any other player in the first half (5,200+ meters). That's a bit of a surprise to me.

    Half time 0-0

I'd encourage Defoe to get out wide on the right if he can't find space in the centre. He's having no impact on the game and given we have no traditional right winger on the pitch, Kyle Walker's offensive impact is also being nullified as he's outnumbered out there. Defoe doubling up out wide would at least give Kyle a chance to bomb forward and provide the overlap; he's not a right winger and will struggle to beat his man 1 on 1 (incidentally for this reason I've always silently disagreed when others suggest starting Walker at RW).

WBA are well organised but I'm not sure about their scouting report. Our back 4 tonight is as pacey as they come, yet their plan is to hit odemwingie early and so far it's been a thankless task for him, plus we're getting plenty of the ball.

Please come back soon Dawson!!! I hope this rumor of us trying to get Samba is true because we are going to need the depth with injuries/knocks piling up.

    1-0 FT :D

Big 3 points, totally dominated then with the disruption of all the injuries and some sloppiness we had to defend well on their setpieces.
