There was a handball that did not get called, and the ref allowed continuation on a horsecollar tackle. Terrible officiating in this one.

Only in Japan a ref applies mercy-rule for a team of one division above...

Where in the world there were FOUR minutes of adding time?

    Not a single injury...

    Riducule and tipical J.League

Sanga was clearly better over the 90 minutes, but this is football, I guess... :p

He more than gave it back with not conceding a foul on the header that generated the goal, and by adding four minutes.

Each substitution = half a minute of added time. Every goal scored = half a minute of added time

4 goals = 2 minutes already and substitutions...

As for the rule. Actually everywhere stronger more famed teams are favored by the refs. Be it Barclays La Kiga, Bundesliga, Seria A or even Champions League.

    Also where is Ono?

Overlooking that, the lack of risk taking i.e. shooting at the top of the box (ShunShun, looking at you!) along with simply letting Kyoto get that second goal is simply unacceptable. Kimura sitting there with his mouth gaped open most of the game, boy, don't get me started. At this stage of the game, damn glad to be here. If Kyoto win this, Kimura can kick rocks, yeah I said it.

Actually before the additional time was called there were TWO goals in the second half, not four...

    And here comes Yuya.

I thought I have seen them all, but now I'll see a 18yo I taught playing against Bomberhead....

He wasn't getting touches as the second half went on and well, disappeared in terms of effectiveness. Still don't know what's up with him and Kimura in terms of chemistry.

If you look at the players, Marinos is clearly better and should be in the final, no doubts, but today Sanga were overall better - whatever the outcome now.

Two goals, post, crossbar, some big chances and overall a very well played game.

I REALLY dislike Sanga as a club (management), but Oki did a great job, and his boys today played at 120%, really moving.

I think with Kudo they were before this game 12-0-1.

If it goes to PK, I won't be able to watch, must head to son birthday's party!! :p

Got very nervous in the first 10-15 minutes, and sort of lost it there. Too bad.

Miyayoshi as well not shining at all.

Kinda sad day for the Japanese teenagers-lover commentators... :)

2-2, extra time now. Yokohama got an equalizer at the death in regulation.

Great job by Sanga they deserved the win. Shunsuke was playing fantastic, our turtles in central defense cost us yet again. Play counterattack an you'll beat us any day. Overall good season hope we can make some signings though.

This says a lot about J.League 2. On the day, they can be just good as J.League 1, and on some days, even better. That is what I call...parity.

Will Kyoto play in ACL if they win the emperors Cup?

Also imo a mistake to substitute Ono, the guy would be a problem for Kyoto in the extra time for sure when the legs get tired
