I don't agree... Thomas Mueller has been his own worst enemy this year. Have you seen him not starting this season? And since Schweini's injury, when a case could be made to impliment a midfield that featured Kroos in his natural role as AM, instead Jupp has altered it to accommodate Mueller into the lineup, even with Robben's return. No... Jupp has crippled Mueller. That is utter Bullsh*t. Mueller has crippled Mueller. His decision making is often times too slow, his touch lets him down repeatedly, his body strength is not enough to keep him on his feet, and when he is beat he typically finds hims flopped on the ground waving his arms about like he'd been shot. No, what is happening is Thomas Mueller no longer is the unknown quantity on the time, the new fresh face with zero expectations on him. What is is feeling is the pressure of a club like Bayern for him to perform week in, week out. He is holding his head above water... barely... but he is surviving, and if there is one attribute I have come to respect from Mueller it is his fight to keep pushing on. However, it isn't for a lack of starts and minutes. Trust me. Do the research. Look up the amount of times he has started, then been subbed.
No, LOL! You misunderstood me What I'm saying is that last season LvG accommodated to Müller far more. For stretches of last season Müller was equally shit. This season Kroos is favoured more by the coach for reasons allready mentioned.
Muller may need confidence that he got from LvG, similar to Heynckes to Kroos. Lets not forget that Muller destroyed Holland just a few weeks ago, arguably the 3rd best team in the world. He also has 4 goals and 11 assists even playing this bad, he is the definition of effective.
I think that the winter break will be good for Muller. He really needs to work on getting to that next level in training, and having 2 games a week doesn't really facilitate that. He's a quality player, no doubt. Just having a rough patch right now.
^^^Nice to see that! IMO ----------------Neuer-------------------- Rafinha---Boateng----DVB/Bads------Lahm ----Schweinsteiger------Tymoshchuk----- Robben------Muller/Kroos------------Ribery --------------Gomez---------------------- IMO.. that is how our strategy should be formulated... Van Buyten and Badstuber and Muller and Kroos should be utilised alternatively for the betterment of themselves and the club because of the competition for the spots... P.S. Earlier Gustavo was better than Tymoshchuk but currently, Gustavo has slipped a bit and Tymo has upped his ante' resulting into the formation...
