Here is a tough one. Diego Restrepo starts and plays 72 scoreless minutes prior to getting a red and an early shower. Clean sheet or no? My gut reaction is not to count it since he was ejected, particularly if America de Cali were to lose this match.
It's all a bit arbitrary, but since getting ejected puts the team at a disadvantage that likely contributed to the goals that were eventually scored, you don't really deserve credit for a clean sheet.
Thanks to Autobus39 for finding one we missed: Adjeman-Pamboe scored for Agrotikos Asteras last Sunday in a 1-0 league victory.
Update time! The guys are on pace to set a YA scoring record and have already exceeded 150 goals. The current tally is also higher than the 2005/6 and 2006/7 season totals. We have a new leader for the goal scorers list as Clint surpasses long time #1 Jozy Altidore. We have 2 new names on the list as Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe and Alex Smith each scored their 1st of the season this week. The top 2 and 3 of the top 5 GKs on the clean sheet list have represented other countries. In an article in the Guardian about the best goals scored in the Premiership (not just this year, but since the beginning), one writer picked Stuart Holden's goal from 12/20/10. Holden is in some pretty good company on the list. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2011/dec/19/guardian-writers-favourite-goal-premier-league
Brad Guzan gets another league clean sheet in today's 0-0 draw with Stoke. Since this week has been light on matches and stats I'll hold off on an update until next Monday.
