We're getting new home jerseys for next season. Some teams have already released their new kits--any news on when the 2012 Galaxy jerseys will be unveiled? Any leaks about what they'll look like? Any preferences?
It will probably be a while before we see the jersey Herbalife's sponsorship deal ends this year, and no one has any gossip on potential suitors.
Jerseys won't happen until we get new sponsorship. New sponsorship won't happen until we hear from Beckham/find his replacement. We've got a while.
Can't wait for that 3rd star above our crest! Anyone think time warner puts down more cheese if david signs a 2yr deal?
I could be wrong, but I think we need to wait until the 2013 kits for the third star. In the mean time, we get the scuduto instead of a star.
Sucks to wait a whole season, But we should not do it like england we are trying to be our own league with our own trends. Even though it's in my opinion taking the idea from world cup winners (stars on jersey). It is still unique to club competitions I could be wrong though.

Wow, I didn't know the Herbalife sponsorship deal was gonna expire after this season. I was about to buy a Donovan kit last month, but I decided to get a Chelsea kit instead. Phew. What are the chances that we don't get a sponsorship deal at all, like quite a few clubs in the league (Revolution, Kansas City, FC Dallas)? We'll probably get Staples.
Yeap, looks like that's exactly what's happening. I think Brand Beckham will announce their decision in around January 10th, just like they did with the RM to G annoucement. Correct. (Likely stars and the scudetto again will only be on authentic jerseys though) 2012 = 2 stars and MLS Scudetto 2013 = 3 stars Yeap, fingers crossed. It would be nice, if whoever will be it, will use a neutral black/white wordmark/logo or even better in club colors. Just a guess on my part, but I expect it to be Herbalife again or Farmers (Field). Marketing wise for Samsung it would make so much sense. *** Another question appart from who the sponsor will be is, how many new jersey's the the G's actually will get. the primary/home is up for a new design after 2 seasons. the secondary/away still has 1 season to go, unless they want to max out profits. the 3rd might or might not be changed/updated. current sponsor new primary current secondary current or new third new sponsor new primary updated secondary new or updated 3rd rumors I haven't heard/read anything about the new jersey(s) for the G's so far. preferences/designs continued from above Since the 2007 Blue/Gold identity the now ending white primary with blue shoulders was my fave designs, ahead of the 2007 darkblue/gold one. I'd love to see the G's using designs from below with white/gold/navy and not other shades of blue. In order not to cluster up the post/thread with too many images, I only used one image per design element and had to split the post. the gold sash a nice nod to the past, to differ a bit in MLS and because I generally like them. white with a gold sash / blue with a gold sash pine stripes thin vertical pine stripes white with blue or/and gold pine stripes / blue with gold pine stripes

As a big fan of simplicity - and Tottenham - I’d like to see the ultra-minimal look of the 11/12 Spurs kit. Gorgeous.
I'm pretty partial to the all white kits, myself. In fact, I like the current kits quite a bit. I wouldn't be mad if got something like last year's Real Madrid shirt; white with Navy piping.
I doubt it will be a big departure from the current jerseys...hopefully we get a non-Herbalife/MLM sponsor this time around.
I hope it's not Herbalife again. This is LA, there are far better sponsorship opportunities than that cr*p drink.
List of major companies headquartered in LA: -Sunkist -Fox Entertainment Group (Imagine the FSC channel logo being on our jerseys while the game is broadcast on NBC Sports ). -Farmers Insurance Group -Jim Hensen Company (This I would LOVE, having grown up as a Muppets kid) -Mercury Insurance Group -Honda -Nissan I also wouldn't mind seeing Aon on our kits next season - they have a big branch office in LA and it would be building bridges to Man U as they are also their current sponsors (The Aon Summer Challenge?).
And I'm so tired of constantly getting the "Do you sell Herbalife?" questions from people when I wear the jersey. Plus I've gotten a lot of crap that it looks like I have a pot leaf on my jersey. Ugh.
