Yes, I know, but I hope we don't ... We ALWAYS lose to them. It doesn't matter if we have the better team or anything, we ALWAYS lose ... Is like the Nationalmannschaft against the Azzura, the result is always the same ...
Arsenal then Chelsea. would love to crush all the big English teams on the way, get the PL delusionals to shut up
Bayern vs Basel Barca vs Marseille Real vs Napoli Arsenal vs Lyon Chelsea vs AC Milan APOEL vs leverkusen Inter vs Zenit Benfica vs CSKA
alaba was pretty bad tonight i was expecting that he will have a good game but nothing. Ok now Basel or Zenit let the other good teams cancel each other i think Milan will get a english opponent again Chelsea or Arsenal.
Great experience for Alaba, Contento, and Petersen. Olic, Pranjic, and Butt all got a nice run out. I honestly don't mind seeing Pranjic playing in an attacking role. He is a good attacker imo, just not a good defender or DM. Assuming Robben and Kroos don't recover from flu and van Buyten doesn't recover from gastroenteritis, against Stuttgart I'd go with... -------------Gomez Ribery-----Pranjic-----Muller ---------Alaba-Tymo Lahm---Bads--Boa---Rafinha -------------Neuer
but honestly..am I the only one to think that Badstuber played like shit today...he couldn't get close enough to David silva and is REALLY SLOW.
These are the first and second place teams respectively from each group. Bayern Napoli Inter Milan CSKA Moscow Benfica Basil Madrid Lyon Chelsea Leverkusen Arsenal Marseille APOEL Zenit Barcelona AC Milan I am hoping we get zenit first round, then apoel 1/8, then Leverkusen 1/4 then whoever in the final. More or less a realistic scenario.. What's everyone else wish list?? I really think we have a chance against this years line up, as long we don't get real or barca until the final.. Thoughts??
LOL strongly doubt APOEL will be in the quarterfinals and VERY MUCH doubt Leverkusen will make it to the semis. Not saying it's for sure not going to happen as Schalke got there last season, just highly unlikely.
I have real concerns over his quality, once someone tries to use their pace, he is absolutely hopeless. The throughball to Toure showcased this especially, and more than once Aguero and Silva outpaced him completely. He is a strong defender with incredible passing but with him the squad it'll be very hard to challenge madrid or barcelona.
In truth I don't think anybody bar those who didn't take advantage of the playing time care too much. The job was already done. I agree about Boateng though.
Against Bayern, City showed why they have one of the most impressive squads on the continent with a performance of complete control over the German giants. funny guy this Greg Stobart from goal http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/ed...ue-a-poorer-place-without-manchester-city-and
I believe bayern need a good break thrown their way. They got the group of death this champions league, Germany have the group of death in the coming euros.. They need a little bone now in the first/second round... Semis and finals is game on.
Mr Stobart is a clown: "The likes of Silva and Sergio Aguero, who have fired City to a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League, deserve to shine alongside the best in Europe." Yeah, and I deserve to be going out with Candice Swanepoel. Not gonna happen.
