The definetly need to rest all the starters, give the youngsters and benchers all experience..

It's a pointless game for bayern, their number one concern should be to lock in top spot by winter break..

    Damn Hendrik, that's my job.

Btw, i don't think that more than 2-3 starters would be rested, it's a big game and no body wants us to get demolished by Shitty.

    It's absolutely pointless...
Even if we get destroyed... What would it sound like beating a full B team...

Either way it doesn't affect us..

That's why we play every unknown ;)

Get a full bench squad and give our guys rest.

It will be interesting to see what jupp goes with..

I hope he doesn't try to succumb to media pressure for a pointless match..

I would even give Petersen a Start ... We need to Focus on the BL and we ALWAYS suck in the BL after playing midweek !!

We wouldn't be demolished by city even if we play with the Dortmund Squad in CL mode ... :D:D

I'd line it up like this...

Neuer - Rafinha, Boateng, Badstuber, Contento - Tymoshchuk, Alaba - Robben, Muller, Olic - Petersen

Muller needs to score some goals.

Petersen, Alaba, and Contento need PT at high levels.

Neuer needs some shots to save.

The absence of both Kroos and Robben has been confirmed on the official FCB site.

I don't think we are going to switch down a gear here, even with a slightly weakened side. It is in our interest to ensure that Shitty are eliminated: they are a dangerous side that could present a future danger if they are allowed to sneak into the knock-out phase.

The last thing I want to see is a repeat of what happened in 1999/2000 - we battered Real Madrid 4-1 at home and 4-2 away in the second group phase, only to meet them again in the semis where we went down 3-2 on aggregate. On that occasion we had no say in Madrid sneaking through - here we do.

    Tymo Gustavo
    Usami Pranjic
    Petersen Olic

Shyte offence, and very risky, I know. But I want all these guys to get playing time, and I dont care if Citeh go through. Id actually want them to go through and draw Real or Barca in the next round - soften them up a bit, or even knock one of them out. I'd rather face Citeh again than either of those two. With a fully fit squad, Id back us to win against any team except Barca and Real, so if there's a possibility of either of them being eliminated by Citeh in the round of 16, Im all for their progress.

A draw (or win) with this squad would make ManCity the laughingstock of the CL.

That's why it should be a full bench squad..

It would be so pointless. Beyond belief if he puts his starters.
