My wife and daughter went to a Sounders function last night at the Clink, and saw the new kits up close. She said that the baby blue had too much baby and not enough blue, and that she would seriously question the manhood of any adult male that actually wore one of these jerseys. The Hi-light yellow fluff made the impression worse.

 

My brother asked if they were playing a game on Easter.

 

What was your answer?

 

I said I don't know the schedule yet

 

i think they are trying to EMPHASIZE the point that since we are in seattle, we have absolutely no fashion sense, and the electric didn't emphasize enough.

 

could also be they are sick of replacing jerseys on the shelf all the time.

 

I actually really like this kit. I'm not a Sounders fan (though I cheer for you against anyone but Chicago in the USOC), but it seems to fit in line with your past jerseys.

Is it mostly the color or mostly the design that people hate? If memory serves, it'll be your first jersey with a collar.
(It can, of course, be both.)

 

For me it is the colors. It looks like the Sounders are working their way through a highlighter package. We had yellow last time, this time they've checked the blue off the list, next time will probably be orange...

That's a great strategy. Bleed the other MLS clubs dry by forcing them to keep manufacturing new keeper jerseys that won't match yours. Brilliant!

 

The cut is fine, too bad they didnt go white and sounders blue, then you would have a throwback kit at last!

I was trying to buy this but I got this instead. But I still payed only $39

Hmmm.... I liked the color. It's just that the placement of yellow is awful. I think it would've been much better if it wall pure cyan.

 

I was thinking that white would be kinda cutesy. I think that blue would look pretty cool if the yellow elements were shale. That would give it a bit more of a tech/masculine look, but I also imagine they might have been going for the ladies with this one.

Anyone with photoshop skills wanna try that one out?

Crap, then that means I will not buy the 3rd kit.

I emailed the official shop asking if a techfit would be available, and they did not even bother to respond.

Maybe the techfits are already on their way out?

 

I don't believe techfit is on their way out, it is just a matter of not all adidas uniforms have techfit. Techfit is a specific "model" of adidas uniform and the third jersey just isn't that model.
