Yeah. We got beat but it wasn't some "exposing us as laughably bad" or something. Meh. Screw the media. It's all about the table, not the headline.

Its a shame, if Ba had taken his chances in the first half things would have been different. If Raylor hadn't had such a stinker, things could have been different. But if my auntie had bollocks she'd be my uncle.

Scoreline flattered City I thought, especially at half time. First one was a definite penalty, I think Richards was looking for it on the second penalty. There was an almost identical foul on Ba just outside their box that wasn't given (because I presume Ba was looking for it).

Positives are Ben Arfa played really well, played like the number 10 we need, some lovely reverse passes and as we saw against Everton, nobody can get the ball off him without fouling him.

We missed Best though I think, his holding up the ball and bringing others into play is what Ba doesn't tend to do, he also defends from the front a lot better. And of course we missed Mr T, I just hope he's back for Man Yoo. Sammy did well though on his first start in difficult circumstances.

Never mind, this is our toughest game of the season and we're unlucky to lose. I think we can still get something from Old Trafford next week.

I'd like to see Santon get a start in that game though, not just as a knee-jerk reaction to how bad Raylor played.

One or two bounces and we're taking it to them. Not that it really would have made a difference in the end. Teams like ManU, Chelsea and Arsenal have always been able to boss the game around against the rest of the PL. And today it seemes like they always had that extra player in midfield or defense to take the clearance or tackle and turn it on right away.

I've always begrudgingly respected Arsenal, ManU, and Chelsea when they were winning. As much as you hated their players, you have to respect their game. How I wish this was hockey and not soccer. De Jong and Balotelli would both have been put in their place by our enforcers. I can't believe Mario wasn't carded for his "celebration" after the PK. That's almost taunting the way he walked around in our box there. Pretty much a foul in every other sport. I would have liked to have seen someone tackle him for a foul and done the same, or celebrate like they scored a goal. Ref can't card you if he doesn't card him for doing the exact same thing.

    Back at it next week.

    Thx,

    Jay!

If it takes £800 million to beat us 3-1 with two of the goals being penalties and us playing rather well then I'll take it.

Literally ******** Man Citeh in their stupid ********ing arses, if they think they are anything more than some Arab ********'s bitch who wants to play with them before ********ing off then fine. They are still a shite team with shite fans who can ******** right off.

Oh, well. Had to happen sometime, I guess.

[result]Liverpool did us a huge favor today. We beat Chelsea (or get points out of the next two) and Liverpool fail to beat Citeh and we'll come out of this stretch still in third. [/result]

I've never seen somebody feel like such a badass after scoring from the spot. I sure hope one of his teammates clued him in.
