So this has been a discussion point in the past, and various poster-created designs have been thrown around, but it's time that we start a serious effort towards getting this changed. It's a new era for US Soccer, and an update to our federation's identity is long overdue. We have milked the old crest for as long as we can, and it's simply time to move on. It's not like the USSF has this long and storied past that making a major change to the crest would damage. Established federations like France, England, Wales, Poland, the Czech Republic, Ivory Coast, Spain etc. have all updated their crests recently, with surprisingly positive results. If you want a change, let your voice be heard.

I voted on yes, but I feel there should be a correction and not an overhaul. For example, Euros get mad because our crest includes "Stars", and while stars and stripes our part of our motif, I ALWAYS hated how our current crest has blue stripes and a red field. A proper US shield is red stripes, and a blue field with stars. Sorry, it makes more sense. It's also the reason why the Nike US Soccer crest pops at the viewer. It looks more like a genuine American symbol.

After the color correction is made, our motto "Don't tread on me" should appear in a banner under the crest, kinda like Aston Villa banner ("Prepared"), etc. The beauty is that you are marking a new era, but at the same time not making the existing US merchandise obsolete.

And Autopenalti, the US changed her crest in the 90's. FA's are allowed to change their crests.

I voted yes, completely blow it up. It still reminds me of local early 90's youth soccer club patches.

Well we should have at least two stars on top of the USSF crest.

2 Women World cups! USSF does represent Women and Men Soccer right?

The women do wear stars above their crest, as they should. The men still need to earn it.

I vote no. There are plenty of folks with it already tattooed on them...no need for the change..

I vote no as well, i have no problem with our current crest, it feels modern and american to me. I have thought about making the field of stars blue and the stripes red as someone suggested.

I voted yes, I feel that the shield should stay, but do the red/blue color swap to make it look more like our flag. Plus the "US with the flying soccer ball" part should be replaced with our "Snake coiled up around an old ball" logo, with the Don't Tread on Me motto somewhere as well.

I voted no! Just switch the Red and blue like most have said! Maybe add the snake in there somewhere, but if it didn't change I'd be ok with it.

That is true, if we were to add the mens and Womens then Germany would have 5 stars just like Brazil.
