UFC, to be frank. It's fine though, the conservative approach is what has taken us to "Will we make it?" last decade to "How awesome is this league's future going to be?" this decade.

Even that's already slowing down (well, the explosive pace it had through '09 anyway) honestly. Last year they moved events and capped arenas due to sluggish ticket sales.

Although, I think their monopoly and subsequent dilution of their own product has played as much or more into it than the actual popularity of the UFC.

UFC buy rates are down, some due to continues injuries in their main and co main events.

However their gate receipts, due to increased ticket prices have been breaking records almost all year long and they are running more events than ever both in and out of the US.

More importantly, they signed a fantastic TV contract with Fox worth ~$90M per year. When you factor that into the PPV revenue they get, they are an extremely healthy organization. And they also have big aspirations and the seeming drive to get there.

Of all the sports/leagues in the US, the UFC is really the one that stands out the most in the growth category over the last 7 years or so.

MMA is a bit similar to soccer in the US in that the older media refuses to recognize its current stature or its growth potential.

Ron Paul could certainly relate to that.
