It seems like there's been an upswing in stubborn disputes like this in the last few years. The NFL and the NBA being prime examples.
Is there any chance at all that Nov 29 clash with City in the League Cup going to be shown on FSC or is it gonna be FS Plus?

Not 100 percent sure on which Barcelona matches FSC is showing Nov. 28 and Dec. 1. One (or both) might actually be the 2-2 draw from 31 March 2010 in the Champions League semifinals first leg. They don't specify on their schedule. Also, I'm not sure about the 1992-93 FA Cup final highlights on FS Plus on Dec. 14. In the last FA Cup final subject to replay rules, the teams drew 1-1 on 15 May 1993 and then had a replay. I am assuming the highlights will focus on the replay, but it could be both matches or just the first one. And this might not be new, but I have just noticed that the YES Network is posting some interviews and highlights on their site in an Arsenal section ============================= SCHEDULES ARE ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE All times Eastern (First-run showings in bold) (Matches from past seasons in italics) Fox Soccer Wednesday, Nov. 23: Arsenal vs. Borussia Dortmund (CL), 5 p.m. same-day delay Thursday, Nov. 24: Arsenal Goals - Magic of the FA Cup, 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 24: Manchester United vs. Arsenal, 8 p.m. repeat Friday, Nov. 25: Arsenal Goals - Magic of the FA Cup, 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26: Arsenal vs. Fulham, 12:30 p.m. LIVE Saturday, Nov. 26: Arsenal vs. Fulham, 8 p.m. repeat Monday, Nov. 28: Arsenal 2, Barcelona 1, 16 Feb 2011 (CL R16 L1), 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29: Arsenal 4, AZ Alkmaar 1, 4 Nov 2009 (CL), 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30: Arsenal 5, FC Porto 0, 9 March 2010 (CL), 11 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1: Arsenal 2, Barcelona 1, 16 Feb 2011 (CL R16 L1), 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10: Arsenal vs. Everton, 10 a.m. LIVE Saturday, Dec. 10: Arsenal vs. Everton, 8 p.m. repeat Tuesday, Dec. 13: Arsenal vs. Everton, 8 p.m. repeat Wednesday, Dec. 14: Arsenal vs. Everton, 3 p.m. repeat Sunday, Dec. 18: Manchester City vs. Arsenal, 11 a.m. LIVE Saturday, Dec. 24: Manchester City vs. Arsenal (FanZone), 3:30 a.m. repeat Sunday, Jan. 15: Swansea City vs. Arsenal, 11 a.m. LIVE Sunday, Jan. 22: Arsenal vs. Manchester United, 11 a.m. LIVE Fox Soccer Plus Wednesday, Nov. 23: Arsenal vs. Borussia Dortmund (CL), 2:45 p.m. LIVE Wednesday, Nov. 23: Arsenal vs. Borussia Dortmund (CL), 8:30 p.m. repeat Tuesday, Nov. 29: Arsenal vs. Manchester City (Carling Cup QF), 3 p.m. LIVE Tuesday, Nov. 29: Arsenal vs. Manchester City (Carling Cup QF), 9 p.m. repeat Wednesday, Nov. 30: Arsenal vs. Manchester City (Carling Cup QF), 4 a.m. repeat Wednesday, Nov. 30: Arsenal vs. Manchester City (Carling Cup QF), 11 a.m. repeat Thursday, Dec. 1: Arsenal vs. Manchester City (Carling Cup QF), 5 p.m. repeat Saturday, Dec. 3: Wigan vs. Arsenal, 10 a.m. LIVE Sunday, Dec. 4: Wigan vs. Arsenal, 12 a.m. repeat Tuesday, Dec. 6: Wigan vs. Arsenal, 12 a.m. repeat Wednesday, Dec. 14: Arsenal 2, Sheffield Wednesday 1, 20 May 1993 (FA Cup final), 2 p.m. (30-minute highlights) Wednesday, Dec. 14: Arsenal 2, Sheffield Wednesday 1, 20 May 1993 (FA Cup final), 8 p.m. (30-minute highlights) YES Network (3-hour block: Arsenal 360, match, Arsenal World) Norwich City vs. Arsenal: 9 a.m. Nov. 22 Arsenal vs. Borussia Dortmund (CL): 6:30 p.m. Nov. 25 Arsenal vs. Fulham: 8 p.m. Nov. 28; 9 a.m. Nov. 29 Arsenal vs. Manchester City (Carling Cup QF): 8 p.m. Dec. 2
Hey Doc, thanks for that TV listing link at USA.Arsenal.com. I rarely look at the USA version of their website so I had no idea about this. Do they keep the upcoming listings up to date fairly well? It doesn't quite have the depth that Epi's lists do (so don't quit your night job Epi!) but it's a good source to know about, espec if you need something quick. And that pic of the SFGooners pub I loved! And all those women & children there... that's not something we get in my neighborhood. Do you think they have to tame their language accordingly?
Not Arsenal-specific of course but in case any of you missed it, FSC is re-running the Greatest Goals series this THU/FRI. (I saw my Tivo ToDo list loaded with them) I caught most of these when they ran last year and they're great fun! And for Arsenal-specific, they're also showing Arsenal - Greatest Goals (from the FA Cup)... even more fun! Especially those performed by Brady, George, Radford et al... on those 70's quagmires!
They're also showing the Man U game from this season, if anyone is in a really good mood and no longer wants to be.
At this point, it appears the only U.S. coverage of Arsenal vs. Aston Villa on Wednesday, Dec. 21 is online on ESPN3.com. 2:45 p.m. ET kickoff. I saw the post previous to this one includes a rumor of the Jan. 22 match against Manchester United being shown on Fox rather than FSC. That could be, as I have heard Fox wants to do that, but I haven't been able to find any confirmation of it. And as previously noted, I'm not sure about the 1992-3 FA Cup final highlights on FS Plus on Dec. 14. In the last FA Cup final subject to replay rules, the teams drew 1-1 and then had a replay. I am assuming the highlights will focus on the replay, but it could be both matches or just the first one. ============================= SCHEDULES ARE ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE All times Eastern (First-run showings in bold) (Matches from past seasons in italics) Fox Soccer Tuesday, Dec. 6: Olympiacos FC vs. Arsenal (CL), 5 p.m. same-day delay Saturday, Dec. 10: Arsenal vs. Everton, 10 a.m. LIVE Saturday, Dec. 10: Arsenal vs. Everton, 8 p.m. repeat Tuesday, Dec. 13: Arsenal vs. Everton, 5 p.m. repeat Wednesday, Dec. 14: Arsenal vs. Everton, 3 p.m. repeat Sunday, Dec. 18: Manchester City vs. Arsenal, 11 a.m. LIVE Sunday, Dec. 19: Manchester City vs. Arsenal, 8 p.m. repeat Saturday, Dec. 24: Manchester City vs. Arsenal (FanZone), 3:30 a.m. repeat Sunday, Jan. 15: Swansea City vs. Arsenal, 11 a.m. LIVE Sunday, Jan. 22: Arsenal vs. Manchester United, 11 a.m. LIVE Fox Soccer Plus Tuesday, Dec. 6: Wigan vs. Arsenal, 12 a.m. repeat Tuesday, Dec. 6: Olympiacos vs. Arsenal (CL), 2:45 p.m. LIVE Tuesday, Dec. 6: Olympiacos vs. Arsenal (CL), 8:30 p.m. repeat Wednesday, Dec. 14: Arsenal 2, Sheffield Wednesday 1, 20 May 1993 (FA Cup final), 2 p.m. (30-minute highlights) Wednesday, Dec. 14: Arsenal 2, Sheffield Wednesday 1, 20 May 1993 (FA Cup final), 8 p.m. (30-minute highlights) Monday, Dec. 26: Arsenal vs. Wolverhampton, 10 a.m. LIVE YES Network (3-hour block: Arsenal 360, match, Arsenal World) Wigan vs. Arsenal: 8 p.m. Dec. 5; 9 a.m. Dec. 6 Olympiacos vs. Arsenal (CL): 8 p.m. Dec. 8; 9 a.m. Dec. 9 Arsenal vs. Everton: 8 p.m. Dec. 12; 9 a.m. Dec. 13; 1 p.m. Dec. 15

Does the fact that Arsenal vs Leeds is gonna be played on a Monday mean that there is a likely TV stream in the US?
Man we've come a long way in 15 years. IIRC, back then there was very little TV coverage of EPL, certainly not too much live. And Arsenal was still relatively obscure to mainstream USA sports fans. Now our club makes it regularly into the sports section of the NY Times, sometimes on p.1, and once in awhile on p.1 of the main section! It's really a great example of the global village. And to think we owe most of it to Rupert Murdoch!
I can remember waiting for the 2 hour Premier League review show (no TIVO!) and hoping that Arsenal was the "feature" match with extended highlights.
Lionel really had a goofy sense of humor. Funnier than the current lot on FSR. But there must be some producer(s) at Fox Sports World who foster that kind of schtick. Lionel pushed the edge of irreverence. I probably have some old video tapes of him from the late 90's if they haven't decayed by now.
