After Man City came over to Vancouver for a friendly this summer, and me being a decades-long Man U hater and all, I just wanted to extend my heartfelt congratulations and good wishes to all you City supporters for you team's humiliation of United over the weekend. It warmed my heart to see Old Trafford nearly empty for the last two goals. It did, it really did. Our own expansion Whitecaps were dead last in the MLS this year after a miserable first season, but City only beat us 3-1. So apparently United suck twice as much as us newbies. What's more, our players played till the end, and our fans continued to fill the stadium as the final seconds ticked down. There is a God and, apparently, he wears blue.
