Re: USA vs France, November 11th was hoping for that Tuesday...could be tougher for me to make the Saturday match
Re: USA vs France, November 11th Is US Soccer selling these tickets, or would you have to go through the French FA?
Re: USA vs France, November 11th US Soccer usually gets an allocation of tickets which they make available to supporters. Not guaranteed but likely.
Re: USA vs France, November 11th I will be there , hope they put out some ticket info fast since its less than a month away
Re: USA vs France, November 11th Just learned I'll be going to Paris for the game. Anyone have info on tickets? In reality, I would rather sit with other French citizens than US citizens.
Re: USA vs France, November 11th dont believe that ticket info has been released yet but keep an eye on the FFF site: http://www.fff.fr/ a lot of times, in non-hostile environments (like this one) it is a lot more fun to sit with the other supporters so when tickets are available just grab one and enjoy! i should be going for this match as well and i have a similar strategy to sit amongst the french
Re: USA vs France, November 11th I set with Belgium supporters in Brussels and they were nothing but nice and welcoming towards me.
Re: USA vs France, November 11th Because there not are enemies. We gave them back there country. Anyways, I talked to my former host family in France and they said there hasn't been any ticket info released. Has anyone emailed US Soccer yet?
Re: USA vs France, November 11th hardly think France in a meaningless US-France friendly is the enemy but that being said, it often makes for a more enjoyable experience. one of the things i enjoy most about traveling for the US team is the travel aspect of it. the USMNT has taken me to dozens of places i probably would never have gone to otherwise and one of the most enjoyable and essential parts of travel for me is immersing myself in the local culture. for a match like this, i feel like i will interact more with the home fans and enjoy myself more being amongst the home fans than i would standing with a dozen US supporters somehwat isolated from the home fans. thats just my opinion and experience, though, everybody has a different opinion. of course, when it comes to a place like Mexico or Guatemala where there is a more hostile atmosphere i enjoy the camaraderie of standing with my fellow US supporters against the crowd. but some of the best experiences ive had even in competitive matches is when i have been mixed in with the home supporters.
Re: USA vs France, November 11th http://www.wikihow.com/Use-There,-Their-and-They're US Soccer does not have ticket info yet, they are working on getting an allocation if they think there will be enough demand
Re: USA vs France, November 11th Guess I'll be emailing US Soccer right now. (Also, I know my grammar is terrible on BS, but I could care less) EDIT: Here is the email I got back from US Soccer. Dear Keaton: Thank you for your support of U.S. Soccer and the Men’s National Team. Tickets for the U.S. Men vs. France match are currently not available for purchase through U.S. Soccer, but may become available at a later date. We are waiting to receive ticket information from the FFF. As soon as the ticket information is available, it will be posted on our website (http://www.ussoccer.com/Schedule-Tickets/Schedule.aspx). Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We look forward to seeing you at the match! Sincerely, U.S. Soccer
Re: USA vs France, November 11th http://accueil.stadefrance.com/customers/evenement/france-etats-unis Tickets are going to be for sale on the FFF site tomorrow. http://www.fff.fr/billet/539672_1-place-achetee,-1-place-offerte*
I'm currently based in Madrid and am trying to get some friends to fly up there with me (even if they don't want to go to the match). Anyone know if the supporters groups will have numbers there? It would be cool to hang out with some Amurricans Oh, and is there a way to read the FFF site in English? Or just Google Translate?
Wouldn't expect any significant numbers from any supporter's group. I could be wrong, but I'd be surprised. I usually just use google translate, its close enough
Same I use google translate. Also, does anyone have any contact info or an email address for the Stade de France/The FFF. Was looking into bringing a banner to the game, and I wanted to see if it was allowed before we make it.
I remember my last US game in France. It was US vs. Yugoslavia in the ill-fated 1998 World Cup. US was playing horribly and some US fans started chanting "We Love French Food, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, We Love French Food, etc." The highlight of the game.
looks like a great location. look forward to a great banner repping US Soccer. just check the spelling first, dont want to be like this guy: http://larrybrownsports.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/nyjer-morgan-poster.jpg
It will more likely be a banner that says, "Klinsmann with US", "AOTucson", or "YSFBM". Still deciding and will talk to a couple of people on the route I should take. Also, it was actually cheaper for two tickets in the front row on the midfield line to this game (80 Euros, or $111) than games in the US.
i think its better to rep the team and country than your organization it is very possible that USSF will be getting an allocation and will sell tickets to the match. a few of us have emailed and they said its a possibility....
Yeah, I understand. I am sort of frustrated with AO that there just sending out emails saying "Hey, were looking at getting tickets for the game." The game was announced October 14, and your just going to tell us on the 20th that you may get tickets? Thats just plain frustrating. I support my local chapter and local members 110%, but I can't support the national corporation of AO. So you'll see 1 Tucson banner of some sort's, plus a 2nd banner that's either A) being negative to FBM or AO (YSAO or YSFBM), or B) a banner supporting Klinsmann, the team, or a player.
