In case you guys didn't see this, the Fire posted the following...

Due to a road closure on I-55 North at Harlem Ave., we are anticipating traffic delays around TOYOTA PARK. Please use the below alternatives when traveling to the game this evening.

• When coming from I-55 North, Exit at 1st Ave (Route 171) and take it to Archer (1st Ave turns into Archer) Go Right on Harlem to head South to the Stadium.

• Please note that 71st Street is closed at the Rail Road tracks to the South West of the stadium.

o From South: Use I-294 North and exit to 95th St. Turn left at 95th St., continue west to Roberts Road, and turn right. Follow Roberts Road north 2.5 miles to 79th St. and turn right. Proceed east on 79th and turn left onto Harlem Avenue. Follow Harlem avenue and turn left onto 71st street proceed west on 71st to the stadium..

o From Southwest Suburbs: Use LaGrange Road or Harlem Avenue to 95th St. from Harlem Avenue, go west to Roberts Road and turn right. Follow Roberts Road north 2.5 miles to 79th St. and turn right. Proceed east on 79th and turn left onto Harlem Avenue. Follow Harlem avenue and turn left onto 71st street proceed west on 71st to the stadium.

• The Harlem exit at I-55 South is down to one lane due to construction. Please allow for additional time when coming to TOYOTA PARK from downtown Chicago.

Since no one was at TP, I don't think the travel nightmare occured!
