Not in FIFA 11 PC version. Unless I downloaded a ********ed up version of it. I only downloaded it last month. You usually have to take away points from one skill to add to another.
Finally got my hands on it. Initial thoughts: 1. Starikov is a good striker to bring on late in the second half. Not sure why he's rated so highly. 2. Edu's rating is terrible. How does someone get dropped 5 points from last season when he had a better season than before? 3. How is Dempsey rated lower than Donovan? Donovan has stalled since the 2010 WC, whereas Dempsey has moved up a level. Ratings should be switched. 4. Mix deserves to be a 71. Chandler a 70. Fine with the others. 5. My best formation is the 4-3-2-1. Feilhaber and Dempsey in the 2. Donovan, Holden, Shea in the 3. 6. The game has gotten more strategic but has lost some of the "fun" fluid style of last year and especially the year before last. I find dribbling to be extremely difficult. 7. How do you change the nationality of a player?
You probably could do it in the PC version if they still make that. Doubt it's possible for the consoles though.
In FIFA 11 on PS3 I was able to change nationalities. I did so to Fabian Johnson and Chandler. But idk if you can in FIFA 12.
It looks like they took that option away this year. I added Chandler last year, when I went to edit Danny Williams on FIFA 12 it won't allow you to edit a player's Nationality.
Yes and I LITERALLY offered like 20 million more but they said "NOPE we don't have more players at the position"
Yea there are a few instances where no matter how much you pony up you wont be able to buy a player. The situation you mentioned, when a player recently transfered, and certain club heroes. For an example no matter how many millions you throw at Bayern, you wont be able to buy Schweinsteiger, or Xavi, or anyone with that kind of status at their club.
Ouch. I guess he's an unknown without any prior hype or experience so they gave him a generic rating.
I'm playing on manager mode with Aston Villa and every game it rains, Eric Lichaj gets a big bald spot on top of his head.
Hopefully the next roster update has them corrected and available for the US team. I'm curious about Fabian Johnson since he hasnt played for us but has (supposedly) applied for his one time switch. We better hope the US Scout for EA follows things closely.
You have to remember, FIFA is biased against Ghana for some reason. Just look at there current FIFA ranking. 36. Were ranked AHEAD of them.
Can we have a vote for stupidest thread ever? Because this constitutes as one... As a Data Reviewer... I can tell you the EA Data team bases player ratings on their attributes not their overall. So talking about the overalls and critisizing them doesnt really make sense, now does it? BTW, for anyone wondering... Mo Edu's was so low because of his poor form in SPL play last season, but was brought up to a 69 after a decent start to this season. The editors are Rangers supporters so they watched him every game. After hearing feedback from a club supporter who gets to watch him every week & then seeing him lately for the US team, I have actually come to agree that he is really in some dreadful form.
I agree if you look at his attributes he wasn't as "bad" as his 66 or 69 would indicate. Can you tell us if Fabian Johnson will be American in the next update? I presume Williams and Chandler are by automatic at this point.
ofcourse, infact Williams will be in the squad since he has appeared so much for the US lately... & Johnson has officially switched so he will 100% be American, I was annoyed too when I couldnt switch Williams & Johnson in the game. Idk why that was changed from F11, but as for them not being American right now, they couldnt have been, they had not appeared for the US by the time the update needed to be ready.
