true...it's incredible to me that a nineteen year old talented kid like wilshere is out best mf player.....without him.. we absolutely toothless against the top 6

wenger and the board have really ********ed up...this just brings my boiling anger back to the close of transfer window...where we brought in bunch of cup players

there is no ********ing way we are making CL this year...unless we spend 75 mil quid on real quality in jan

It really is a disgrace. Spurs are a better team with better players and depth right now. But Arsenal is a considerably richer club with a considerably bigger fan base (globally certainly).

I think that fact demonstrates the mismanagement right now, top to bottom.

Wenger out, to be sure. And Usminov in.

I'll state the obvious. If Sagna's injury is significant, we will be lucky to finish in top ten.

I'm ready for it. Walcott just isn't working in that position.

Song and Coquelin good. That's all that really can be said. We really miss Fabregas in MF.

Well, out of Europe is out of Europe. Given Arsenal's form since the Carling Cup final, I'd be satisfied with any finish above 18th.

No no no mate, you've got it all wrong, we'll turn the Emirates into a lab and turn it into a profit where we'll find a cure for Redknapps twitch and gloat about how we rediscovered science to the media and the fans.

But seriously I'm not even disappointed by this result, I'm way passed that, just numb and shrug of the shoulders. I will always support Arsenal and when I see them play at the grounds, I'll sing my heart out, but its just saddening to see.

Sigh. Could have been worse. Ramsey had a horrible game. Sadly, this is the new reality - welcome to mediocrity.

If management was worried about overpaying for quality this summer, they are really going to have to overpay to get quality in here in January.

Every season it seems like Arsenal banks on a 100% healthy side, and every season with have a raft of injuries from the start.

Really mismanaged the summer transfer period, what else can you say?

We are such an ordinary side at this point. So little real quality in the squad. It's sad.

Can't really complain about the result, Sperz have a stronger squad than us now. Amazing that they've held on to their stars and added players like Parker while our stars have been sold and their fees pocketed. I don't mind a self sustaining business model, but what's the point of banking 40 million a year while the team goes to shit.

The Cesc vacuum was overwhelming today. Arteta's not good and he's not bad. He's meh. No major f.ups but no great creativity either. Just meh. Boring to watch really.

Which is utterly absurd considering the resources and fan base we have at our disposal. Criminal mis-management. AW and the board all to blame.

We give the ball away too much, that's where our 'shit' defending comes from.

We dealt with Spurs fairly well but we lack dynamism upfront. Song and Coquelin were our best players.

We should've scored at least two.

    Theo is a retard.

    really disappointed in Arteta.

this match really called out his name and with 4 matches under his belt now this is the best he can display? He might as well be anonymous.

    If Im RVP, Im flusterfukd.

Outside to do chores. Can't get too upset about this. Sad really. Even when it's against the scum. Not seeing any improvement in our dilemma in the near future so...accepting mediocrity..

Someone else is up for matchday thread duty...my luck ran out after 3 matches.

Aside from a pretty lucky long range strike, 2-1 was probably about right. We had no answer for Bale especially after Sagna got hurt.

Don't know what to say about Ramsey, nice run to forward to get on Song's cross but other than that he had one of the worse performances I've seen in an Arsenal shirt. Arteta is in the same boat with him--missing in a derby game...not the way to endear yourself at your new club.

5 midfielders and RVP barely had a pass to run onto the whole match--shocking for an Arsenal side.
