I would choose R.E.D. laces on those Legend IIs.

It does. The NFL, NBA, and MLB all do the samething here in the US.

LanceUppercut, are the yellow parts on the upper of the adizero II´s made from the same sprintskin material as the red parts, or is it more like "rubbery" or something? Also, the lacing and heel look much better on the new version IMO.

just picked up some AZT's and laser II's. the azt's feel as if they could act as a pair of CTR's due to the cushioned inner of the shoe

HeY which AZT you talking about? I heard some gOod things about them. Yeserday i use the first time on my legend 2. I was very dissapointed with the durability. They have already shown some signs of splitting. Hmm and shooting was pretty odd with this. So i wanna know AZT is a good boot or not.

The AZT III's. the wrapover tongue and offset lacing combined with the cushioned instep makes me feel as if they could be a similar boot to the maestri, except synthetic

The AZT90 III´s are nothing like maestri´s. 1) The sole plate is much more rigid on AZT´s and has rounded studs. 2) The synthetic on the maestri´s is sort of pliable unlike that of AZT´s. 3) The AZT´s are durable, maestri´s aren´t. Both are good boots, though. ;)

o really? It was just based off of my first impression, as i have yet to wear them in game or practice. But one of the reasons in which i got them was because people said that they were basically the maestri before all these gimmicky things came into play ie the pass etc. how was ur experience with them?

Have a look at the nike thread, as I already expressed my thoughts on AZT90 III´s to zuhairialves who was also requesting a review on them. :)

Some boots I got a few weeks back. Jonas Gutierrez's Umbro boots.

I haven't got a retail pair to compare them with but these do seem to be made to a higher standard than most retail boots; which doesn't seem that fair if I'm paying £100+ for a pair.

Just picked these up. I thought about painting the black ones, but they really do look good in person, I might just leave them alone.

All Adidas boots are US8.5 UK8.

Copa Mundials have been my main boots for the last 20 years, but all I have currently is the 25th anniversary release (could care less about the package though). I LOVE these, the top is all super soft k-leather, in and out, no fabric in this boot; beats the regular Copa's in my feet's opinion. I bought a few pairs in case they get hard to find one day (they are in my size). The tops feel like they're going to last forever. You can sort of see how worn the molded cleats are compared to how good the leather looks, is there was a way to replace the soles & rubber cleats on these?

The Profi's are basically like a regular Copa but with an all leather tongue, just as great.

The indoors I've had for 20 years, don't remember what model they are and I don't remember the last time I played on hard floor either! I use them for lifting weights, the non compressible soles are perfect for heavy squats.

I'm playing on turf more often then not nowadays so I decided to try Nike Bomba Finales. Bought them online and based myself on my US sizing fit in Adidas, which was a mistake. First pair (white) was too small by a half size, so I ordered another pair and they fit like a glove, really light too. Only a few hours of kicking around and no game in them yet, so the jury is still out. White is US8.5 UK7.5 (going to the swapshop once I have enough posts), and Yellow is US9 UK8.

Great boots my fellow Canadian! If only the Copas fit my wide feet, they would be my go to boot.

Glad to see some well made classics!

BTW, your indoors are named Adidas Mexico something... I had a pair of the fg variety from way back.

Thanks, and for the indoors tip as well. My teammates have never seen me in anything other than Copa's, so you can imagine the razzing I got when I showed up for practice in bright yellow Nike's!

(Hey, we can engage in playfull banter when the Impact play TO F.C. next MLS season!)

Yep, got'em off eBay myself. They come in a bunch of different colourways, good luck finding one you like that's in your size, ssbb88 - patience is my advice.

Here is just two pairs of boots i have pictures of. Gold Adidas Predator Powerserve David Beckhams. They were exclusive for his 100th England cap. I got them on soccer.com a while back for a nice price and in my size....13 lol. I used them a few times but i have them cleaned and on my shelf now. [IMG]

The next pair is Adidas Predator Powerswerve Fantasys. The picture is mainly of the ball so it might be hard to see. if you guys want a better picture, let me know. [IMG]

Not a big fan of the TFC as I never really gotten into MLS. However, it's always nice to have another Canadian team representing.
