The game to me is a huge.....meh! Lets say we win 8-0. Well...that's sort of expected right? I mean we are the Big, Bad ARSENAL! Right? If the game is close or for gods sakes a defeat,(not out of the realm of possibility) we only stand to further lose "face". I fear we have very little to gain and a lot to lose regardless of result. Meh!

I just want to see an all around good performance whether it's reserves or not.

It would be nice to beat up on some lower-league opposition and get a 3-0, 4-0 win. I just don't think we have the capability to do that right now. Fully expecting a nail-biter.

It's amazing how important that match became.

I really wonder how different things would be today had we won.

according to young guns, our lineup looks like:
    [LINEUP-4-4-2]chamakh,park,benayoun,coquelin,frimpong,oxlade-chamberlain,gibbs,miquel,djourou,jenkinson,fabianski[/LINEUP-4-4-2]
    with martinez, boateng, yennaris,
özyakup, aneke, miyaichi and watt on the bench.

they think it might be a return to 4-4-2 but i guess the lineup can still be played 4-3-3 with park, oxlade-chamberlain or benayoun dropping in behind chamakh. i find it curious that afobe is not named at all and would have liked to see
özyakup get the start but i guess he wants coquelin and frimpong sharp and ready for first team (but i don't see the offense being started from either).

He's obviously not Arsene Wenger so whatever way you look at it, he had to get info from someone else. :D

This, more than anything, makes me so sad. I think it's fair to say that five minutes of football have changed the path of our club inexorably into the near future.

I disagree, I think things were already in motion. I was expecting us to lose against Birmingham.

Updated based on the information Wenger has given out:
    -----------------Fabianksi---------
    Jenkinson---Djourou---Miquel---Santos
    -----------Frimpong--Coquelin-----------
    ----------------J.S. Park
    ---ASQOC---------------------Miyaichi
    ----------------Chamakh---------------

Here is hoping for a solid performance to bring some joy back into the Emirates faithful.

There's going to be alot players out today that I'm itching to see in action. This match will be interesting just for that. Hopefully we can make a deep run in this cup, to see what we really have in Oxdale-Chamberlin, Miyaichi and Coquelin

Love it. Definitely want to see Park playing right behind the striker. I think thats actually whats missing from the first team. A true creative link between the controlling midfield and RvP.

Like it -- I think you've got all the personnel right, but I wouldn't be surprised to find us playing more in the shape of a normal 4-4-2.

Is it bad that I want to see this more than I want to see the first team play?

Is this televised anywhere in the world?
