Does FIFA 12 integrate Champions League matches during a league season?

Wrong. That's how it worked, but you had to be facing the guy to make it work. I promise you it works, lol.

Go look at any controls description for FIFA11. Guarantee you, you won't see that. Even the guy who was initially debating with me just said the same.

Not sure if they have a tournament that is supposed to resemble Champions League (as I don't play Career Mode), but I know they don't have official licensing to label any such tournament as Champions League as PES has the full licensing for that.

It doesn't matter whether it's in the control descriptions, there are a LOT of things not in there that you can still do. But the off the ball runs with LB is definitely one of them that is possible and not hard. I don't know why you're having so much trouble with it.

I liked the fifa 12 demo(coming from a person who absolutely hated fifa 11).

They made it more arcadish and not stiff so to say which is great, also the graphics improved and the players don't look like mice on a field anymore..

this is correct. I use it all the time to get my players to make runs. As long as you are facing them, it works...doesn't have to be on a give and go.

I have played the demo and it is awesome. The graphics are really good and it is way better. It is also the best demo I have played and it will be a good game.

So what is the general consensus? The new PES or FIFA 12? I'm still undecided on which one to get.

Played the FIFA 12 demo, love it. Just can't get the damn scoring down - or even possession. Defense is much more strategic as stated, and i don't have a handle for it having only played it a few times. I just did a cheap way of controlling the goaltender, which once your posession crosses into the offensive side, it auto switches you to the player with the ball.

Made a great run with alves down the side which resulted in a short cross to messi who practically only had to tap it in.

Downloading PES to see how that is. Still not sure on what I want to buy yet - if at all. Don't want to get somethign that i'll be massacred online. Decisions decisions.

The last soccer video game I played was FIFA 06 so there was obviously a major difference. I found it tough at first due to the lack of tutorial(except for defending), but after a half hour I finally "got" it.

Defending is tough but I found it enjoyable when I successfully pulled off tackles.

I found it really fun and the flow of the game felt natural compared to videos I have seen of previous games.

I tried downloading the PES demo for comparison but my new Xbox only came with a measly 4GB so until I buy a larger drive I'll be playing the Fifa demo.

I don't know how you're doing it wrong, but you are. It even does it in the 12 Demo.

It just takes learning, which comes with repetition. But I'm going with PES as my go-to soccer game this year. The CPU/AI in FIFA just isn't as good, to be frank.

I should be playing online FIFA12 Religiously on X-Box360! I skipped true FIFA 11 and kept playing FIFA2010 World cup. My goal was to win an online cup with El Salvador which hasn’t happened yet but I won a cup with Brazil a few days ago. Something I knew would happened if I picked a power house like Brazil it didn’t feel the same :( but I won a cup. Anyways I'm looking forward to taking any challengers from bigsoccer :p.
