On we go. Quite looking forward to this, think it will be close but I think this game is certainly winnable with the right line-up and attitude.

Found a very nice piece by a QPR fan ahead of the game: http://bit.ly/qGggKU

Not the usual stereotypical nonsense about NUFC fans and our club, but instead a balanced and knowledgeable article. Definitely worth a read.

ESPN3 in the USA. Only the "big 4" on Monday nights go live on ESPN now.

    Thx,

    Jay!

If we win, we're a quarter of the way to 40 points

I am really hoping that Tiote runs Barton.

I guarantee Barton gets Tiote sent off. It's what each of them does.

Unless Pardew makes the change after Cheick's first yellow...

    Thx,

    Jay!

If we win we go fourth. Third if we win by 3 (which considering we've scored 3 all season ... yeah.).

It's not on TV, so you would have to watch it live on ESPN3 at any rate. If you don't have access, but can make the time, let me know. I'll see what I can do for you.

    Thx,

    Jay

Tiote with a nice club upside Barton's head as he shoulder charges him to the ground.

Anyone else getting an Error 301 on ESPN3? The other ESPN feeds work for me and I can get ESPN3 on my phone, but not on the computer. Thx

    Working fine for me.

Pretty much what you'd expect at the half. We've little going forward and supremely lucky on defense. Shots saved by Krul, missed by Bothroyd & SWP, and cleared off the line by Simpson and Saylor.

Besty had a real good shot stopped by Kenny. Otherwise, Jonas is Jonas and Shola is Shola in front of net.

    Thx,

    Jay!

SWP is killing them with his pace. At this point we are lucky QPR don't have the lead.

having to have Jonas and Raylor pull the ball back onto their right foot to cross, which is causing them to lose it 3 out of 4 possessions is going to continue until Pardew puts a left foot player on the left side. Both of them are losing the ball way too much.

Draw. Deserved? Considering we didn't sign SWP or Bothroyd, I'd say yes.

Barton lured Tiote into a booking, and had a little afters with Sammy Ameobi. Wonder if he ever tried to put a cigar out in Sammy's eye at the Xmas bash?

    Thx,

    Jay!

Wow do we have anyone in the midfield that can play like SWP? If QPR had finishers this would have been a route. I'll take the draw, but that second half was not pretty.

Plus points - we're still undefeated and somehow managed to keep another clean sheet.

Negatives - Just about everything else. R Taylor was pin-pointed as a weakness and SWP had him all over the park. Coloccini didn't quite look himself. Tiote is having a bad time of it, he seems to want ages on the ball to think about what he's doing and gives it away in our own half about 50% of the time. Cabaye had about two touches all game - what the f*ck is going on there? Either he's being bypassed by the defence hitting it long to our attack, he's not getting himself into useful spaces, or everyone else just doesn't want to pass to him... I so want him to adjust to the English game, he just seems to go missing quite a lot so far.

Obertan started brightly (first 10 minutes) then faded out of the game, I noticed he kept throwing his hands up in the air everytime a link up went wrong or the strikers lost the ball... get used to it son, you're not at Man Utd now.

Jonas did all right but no end product. Best was unlucky at times and shows decent link up play, but a forward line of Best and Shola is about the most static you'll see in the PL (unless Fulham decide to play their MJ statue up top).

Sammy was some spark when he came on, I know it sounds cliche but its just nice to see someone want the ball, and want to make an impact on the game. I'd love to see him get a start but I also know he could go missing like the rest if not coming on for a cameo.

Can we have Santon at LB next game please?

Perhaps this is the performance we needed to shake loose some daylight for Santon, Gosling, Ba, and Marveaux.

But it was at least a point away from home, so Pards will spin it as a gritty righteous fight that he is proud of, or some shite.

If only there had been some way to know we were going to be weak at striker and left back before the transfer window closed. If only...
