Maybe this time the mods won't delete it? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJpy4-lgNwk"]Philadelphia Union SOBs Tribute to 9 11 - YouTube[/ame]
This is probably the best workmanship I've ever seen on a two stick, it's basically a small quilt. This girl is very talented and may start to give Thoma a run for his money on two-sticks in Crewville.
Great work by Columbus this week. To bad the stadium was so empty and there was hardly anybody there to see it. I really hope people start taking more an interest in the Crew. You guys in Columbus thought about doing a 'Do Work Son' banner with a players face for the O? Just a thought
I know other groups have done large tifos before, but this was the first time we've done something on this scale and had a lot of fun doing so. Look forward to the next bigger and better project.
Iconic. Always seems like there are great tifo concepts coming out of Columbus. You might not do scale but what you do seems always to be good quality in both the verbal messages and the visual artwork . . . at least in the opinion of this random supporter. Either you are lucky to have one person who is incredibly talented and who can wield creative control over your main displays or you have a bunch of rare talents who understand the game, the culture, and how to pull this stuff off. Eitherway, respect.
She's pretty cute as well, talent in knitting/sewing and loves soccer, my type. Too bad she's in yellow and black.
We tried to get Thoma involved in this project, but he prefers doing things solo. He does a lot of great work and has inspired many others to create their own two sticks and banners that have made the Nordecke a great place to show off creativity and something that's really taken off in the last year or so. It used to be just Thoma, now it's a whole collective. MassiveCityFFC (Scornflakes on BS) has been pumping out designs faster than they can be made. Like this one that HSH had 5k of printed business card sized:
Taken from the 1996 version of the seal. That 1996 thing, ya know. damn state government changes the seal like stripper acts backstage, often.
