so its the spanish champions vs the italian champions. its a match between the two greatest sides in europe in the last decade. but doses anyone fear for milan. i mean barca 11 are far superior than the barca 06. whereas milan had a dip in quality of players and now they are much older since the last time they met.

so are milan stronger than last year? can they play better in spain than hey did in the last year? tactically they wont be playing with 3 strikers which might help them contain barca.

I really don't see Milan getting a point out of Barca, i think Barca will completely dominate but i might be wrong though...

The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong...

...but that is the way to bet.

I love Milan and I think we have a strong side, but they will be tested against what I consider to be the strongest team in history. Winning would be awesome but I expect a loss, and I'd be not too pessimistic to just hope that it isn't embarrassing. However, it is possible to get a result against Barca, especially with negative, defensive tactics. If we have everyone defending except Ibra and Cassano/Robinho then we have enough of a counter attack threat to get a goal, or even two. The key will be keeping them out of our net.

i think we would stand a slim chance if we had our champions league god in the roster: the one and only inzaghi to score some goal out of nowhere. But, since he's not playing, we don't score this game. I think we lose 2-0, but with barca missing some good chances. our defense wasn't solid at all against lazio and since the season just started i don't think we have the necessary chemistry and cohesion/fitness to keep up

Nocerino and MvB should start the game along with Boateng.

The thing is that when playing Barca, the whole team will be made to defend but the problem with the highlighted players is that they don't like to defend (never defend) and they're are not very fast for counter attack either. And i think everyone noticed that against Lazio, the defence was extremely shaky.
Basically,if Milan put up the same performance as they did against Lazio, they'll get killed on the field. They need to show a huge improvement from yesterday's game to stand a even a little chance.

Looking like it'll be a Christmas tree with Pato up top.

Beat their asses, please. All this "best ever" talk is getting annoying.

Seems like they're leaning to a Xmas tree 4-3-2-1.

if were doing a 4-3-2-1 this is the lineup I would start with.

    Abate - Nesta - Silva - Taiwo
Ambrosini - Van Bommel - Nocerino
    ----Boateng ------ Cassano ----
    --------------Pato--------------

Seedorf or Aquilani can sub on for Cassano,

I hope Pato doesn't show his lazy self today. Milan will need every player to give 100%.

I'm not expecting d1ck from this game.

I expect we'll get out of the group, but that's it.

It's time to stop the spanish world domination.
