LOL. Is this our best signing this summer, or do we just have a squad full of **************?

I hope not. Most top players want to transfer to a team where they can get CL football. If we don't qualify for CL, then it's more likely these and other top players would rather go elsewhere.

Tbh, I didn't expect more than fourth this year anyway, and with the way we started the season, fourth place sounds great.

I don't think he's injury prone. People on this board are just making that up, but the question mark about him is whether he still is effective.

He was coming off injury too. You wouldn't expect him to set the world alight.

What I am wondering is that if the stadium was indeed paid off would our transfer policy change?

Typical. The board gets a loan deal for a waste of space and pockets the 60+m for themselves. Incredible. If Benayoun is the only addition I will have officially given up on CL hope. We are incredibly thin. No one we have signed is super quality like Wenger said. I can't believe I fell for this shite again.

I am not sure why we just loaned Landsbury to WH and picked Benayoum....
    What a waste.

They've at least addressed some of the issues, but the biggest one is still glaring. Even if we add Benayoun. Massive meh.

And I don't fully understand the need to loan out Lansbury and Chamakh.

"Benayoun is underwhelming" is understatement of the year

lol... I have some faith in the striker and defenders. But I still think our biggest problem was in the midfield. Now that we haven't resolved that, I have low hopes for us.

arteta is a little bit injury prone, kinda niggly ones rather than recurring major ones, but he is certainly no hargreaves or anderton.
i think you point about still being effective is a valid question too. he is unlikely to get much better at 29.

The Benayoun move is clearly just a marketing ploy to sell more Arsenal shirts in Israel. Untapped market and all, ya know.

Lansbury might be the most over hyped Arsenal player in history.

We don't get 4th place with our current group, and adding those 2 doesn't change that.

So if Bendy and Chamakh go, our only forwards on the roster are RvP and Park. Talk about target men.

    Lord.
