not only are they awful but NO change at halftime

nobody on the post once, free kick score, nobody on the post a SECOND time, they score, third time, NOBODY on the post but we're lucky that Rooney misses - why didn't he try far side like first two? being kind?

and even with out full compliment of defenders a high line without high pressure has shown for YEARS that it doesn't work but make no changes

one debutant, sub in another and another inexperienced and take off your captain and Theo, no respect for the youngsters - what was the double switch supposed to prove - I feel sorry for the youngsters

    wengers completely lost it,

pat rice was supposed to retire, how many asst. managers has SAF had? yet he keeps on winning, rice is just a yes-man for Wenger

The last time we conceded 8 goals was before any of the Wright brother's experiments.

on the bright side chamberlain showed some strong running at times, good ball control and strength. would love to see him in CC action this year.

Will this embarrassment force the manager to buy? Do we coach defense? I won't hold my breath. The away support was the only positive thing from today, but then again they are always excellent.

I always love posts like this. First of all, it's hard to just drop a habit like that, plus, at the time of my writing, you're still on this forum.

    i feel sick.

not sure that a few signings will fix this anymore. swansea must be crushed. the team needs to take a look at themselves at players, wenger needs to evaluate his tactical decisions, especially based on todays personnel i never expected the high line, but we only have a plan A. i said it before the game but you have a whole week to prepare for a team that only finds space behind defenses, thats how they score, and yet we made it easy on them.

you have to wonder if the wenger vs. board thing is accurate. ill stick by wenger for now as its hard to believe that bigsoccer can call it and not him.

ramsey, i love your heart, but you arent ready.

coquelin, i like you, give song some competition

walcott, im glad youre scoring, you need a proper wing back to excel.

van persie, too quiet for too long. i know the armband is heavy but you need to rise above it. the fact that you didnt rush into the net and grab the ball after your goal says it all to me. step it up.

DJ: nothing to say, 4th choice at best, wouldve felt better about miquel.

kos: i think you are a good defender impeded by a poor system.

    traore/jenks: third choice

rosicky: i dont blame anything on you, we had no movement in the final third.

chez: first time ive seen you like this. turn it around, youre better than that.

It would have been worth it if just one guy would have kicked Rooney in the kneecap.

I've openly questioned Rice's role here in the past but I think it was the Footballistically Arsenal podcast that mentioned Wenger is such a control freak about running training that Rice has little to do but set up the cones. Rice wanted to retire but Bould didn't want the job because it wasn't as good a stepping stone position for other coaching opportunities as what he already had.

Really depressing sidenote: we are six points behind Wolves and Newcastle and 10 goals behind in goal differential.

Since when Piers Morgan was anointed an "All Arsenal specialist"?
This bozo is on Fox news now spitting a bunch of nonsense and making up things.

I hate Piers Morgan but listening to a fellow Arsenal supporter right now is a tonic for my broken soul.

Yes, he's a blowhard. But what has he made up? You can't keep your head in the sand here, THIS IS THE WORST DEFEAT WE'VE EVER SUFFERED IN 100 YEARS

But we knew those players were leaving and we did nothing all summer long. Now we've got a real time problem, plus what player wants to join this mess?

We were a punching bag tonight. The most angering part of this is that we have been expecting a hammering and we got it. Not only that since the turn of new year we have been screaming at new additions.

Now he is going the xenophobic route...... Arsenal needs to sign 6 english players....we need to go back to route 1. This guy is a piece of work!

geez, it's like the sky fell or something. it's a fucking loss. unbunch your damn panties and get over it. we've watched, happily and gleefully, as our team laid the smackdown upon various teams over the year. (rewinder excepted, he was still depressed and depressing in those times, he's a right consistent bastard :D) sometimes you flog, sometimes you get flogged.

we went into the game at old trafford without wilshere, sagna, vermaelen, gervinho, gibbs and song . . . that's 6 fucking starters, 3 in the backline and 4 in the back 5. no, hell no, we weren't going to do fuck all against the best team in the league in their house. no team that isn't backed by oil money can lose that many starters and look like they can hang with them.

    jesus, chill.

That's why it's not upsetting to me. Actually, I expect this to happen three or four more times this season.

Yeah...Fire Wenger, buy 6 english players, going back to route 1...These are his solutions.... I am not sure I am the one with the head in the sand there.

I partially agree. In defense we can use a confident vocal English center half. We need some English talent, but more importantly we need quality and experience.

If I may so add, Piers Morgan is a twat. A huge twat. Some might even call him a c*nt

Even Michael Owens agrees on it.

@piersmorgan I suppose you are back criticising your team today? Proud to be a Gunner 4 days ago. Sad man.

this is all carry over from last season. i had hoped with the summer break that they would start fresh and new...but it's the same stuff we complained about back in march/april/may.
