Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 That depends, did you get them through the S8C store or did you get them through the front office? If the former, all ticket purchasers were emailed last week asking if they wanted their ticket purchase rolled forward to the 8/30 game. Refunds will be processed this week if you didn't indicate back that you wanted that. If you did indicate that, tickets will be at will call on gameday as usual.
Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 Then if you did not receive an email, I'd suggest you check your spam filter; if you still find nothing and you want your tickets transferred to the next game, you should contact communications@section8chicago.com ASAP. If you do nothing you'll be automatically refunded this week.

Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 One week away. God I hope we can at least draw 5 figures for this game.
Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 Oh come on, the Chicago Sky could sell out if they offered all-you-can-drink free beer. Never, EVER underestimate the power of free beer.
Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/040046EDA7C03024CFC_CHICAGOFIRE_cfpageRochesterHP Looks like at least 5-6,000 tickets sold. But keep in mind that includes Season Tickets.
Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 I don't know how accurate ticketmaster website is, but it only has 3,470 seats available (plus section 8 and miller party deck). All the gray dots are tickets sold and all the blue dots are tickets that are available.
Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 Section 8 Chicago still has $5 beer bus rides available...including from the beach if you have a day off: http://section8.ticketleap.com/chicago-fire-vs-richmond-kickers-beer-bus/
Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 You can get $10 corner kick seats for the Fire game on 8/30 through this link http://bit.ly/OFire there is also $15 for Premier seating...just an FYI

Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 I like these photos they're rolling out. I guess they're really trying to get people to use #KingsoftheCup as well. Its nice to see them putting something into this tournament, even if it is all thats left for the team to hang its hat on.
Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 If you can meet in the Loop I'll sell you a $6 STH parking pass. PM me if so.

Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 Finals location: If Seattle wins they host regardless of who wins our match, if Dallas wins and we win, we host. http://www.ussoccer.com/News/Lamar-...or-the-2011-Lamar-Hunt-US-Open-Cup-Final.aspx
Re: open cup fire-richmond 8/30 The idea of rooting for Dallas for anything leaves an awful feeling in my stomach, but here goes: Go F_C_ (yourself) Dallas! Beat the insufferable, arrogant pricks in Seattle. That's the best I can do. Of course, the Fire have to beat Richmond for any of this to matter.
Is this the only major cup for which you can buy homefield advantage for the final? Granted, Seattle still has to qualify for the final but getting to buy the right to host it every year simply because of their higher ticket revenues is kind of a joke, although the people at MLSHQ getting that money sure aren't complaining.
