im hoping good seats are still left when it gets to me... this is my first year as a STH and i have amazing seats this year.. i know it wont be as good this coming year.. hoping for 227-229. i really want 129 but i'll just have to see what's up when it gets to me.
I do? Um...ok....considering I don't recall that I'll take your word for it. XD *less drinking next time*
I think they have stopped selling them until September. I have a friend that was mad too, but I think there are still plenty of good seats.
My understanding is that they are in a time-out on seat selection until right after Labor Day. Based on the experience from last week and that of others I have talked to, there are a ton of good seats available - everyone I talked to pretty much got what they wanted, or very close to it. I think during the pregame meeting, they mentioned something like 390 or 400 accounts that were from 2006 that got to choose last week, and some of those went to club seats and they opted out of getting other normal seats.
correct. My spot was last week but I had already gotten club seats - so that was one spot that took no tickets.
I wanted to get the front row in the 200s.... I was afraid that by last Thursday they would all be gone. I don't think there were any (at least 3) on the west side, and none in the center section of the east side, but there were plenty in the other sections. So if you're not looking for front row, I'm sure there are still a lot of good seats. It would be nice if they would do like they do for the Astros (and I've discovered for SportingKC too) and color in the seats that are taken.
That's exactly what they're doing with the coloring in. There are like 5 of us that I know of all friends of mine that opted for Supporters Section and aren't going to get tickets. I'm sure that between Supporters Section, VIP, and club there are a good amount of spaces that were skipped. You'll get great seats! Like others said maybe not your dream seats but damn near close.
I got my letter yesterday as well.... September 7 at 12:15p I just hope I can get something similar to what I have now
Shamelessly leveraging social proof: Support With Us! There's room for a few more in the supporters section. If you have passion, energy, and want to stand & sing for the Dynamo, grab a spot now. No supporter group affiliation necessary. Cheapest season tickets in the stadium - only $250 Payment plans Fun Reserve a spot in the supporters section here.
208 B. If you're next to me, you'll not only have to listen to me, but you'll be expected to share your nachos as well.
Question...can the people that already bought the tickets log into virtual venue via their ticket master account and still see the colored in (taken) seats? I buy on 9/6, and although they sent me the login information and directions on how to select the seats, I can't enter the virtual venue through the ticket master account manager (I assume I won't be able to until my selection time slot). Therefore, all I can look at is the "public access" virtual venue that doesn't have any seat selection information. In fact, if someone who already bought the tickets would be willing to log back in and take some screen shots of sections with seat availability colored in, I think many of us buying after Labor Day would be very very grateful. Sounds like many here bought in the 204-208 range, so those would be interesting to see.
I'm in Section 108. I got the 2 accessible seats. There is only 2 wheelchair seats per section. I wasn't crazy about the price over twice what we pay now but the wheelchair seats in the 200 sections are at the top are only accessible by the one elevater on each side . There are no bathrooms up there or concessions stands. You get to share the elevator with the camera crews and food service for the rich people. My mom will be 94 by the time stadium opens. I don't think she'll be able to wait for an elevator just to go to the bathroom. So much for being ADA compliant.
I understand your concerns about this but it might not be as horrible as it seems. This is a relatively small stadium we're talking about and the elevator should not be in really heavy use during match. And I'm certainly not arguing with you about specifics because I haven't seen blueprints or anything of the section you're talking about. But if you can only access your seats by elevator, how does everyone else get into that section?? The same elevator? There has to be a ramp somewhere doesn't there??
My grandmother is in her 90s as well. I can not speak for zippimom, but with my grandmother, when not in a wheelchair, she moves pretty slowly. Dealing with a crowded ramp on a regular basis can be brutal when you get to that age. That also assumes there will be a ramp, not stairs.
