AZ down 1-0 after a valid PK. Anyone whos looking for a stream: http://www.trgoals.tv/ Good quality too. EDIT: Match now tied. 1-1 off a rebound. 30th minute.
Just FYI, at this stage last year Jozy played 20 minutes for Villarreal in a 5-0 win over Dnepr. He played 72 minutes in the away leg.
Cool stadium design. If someone gave me a few hundred million to design an MLS stadium, it would look like this one.
AZ's midfield has been woeful. That said, looks like they're happy heading home with a one goal deficit and an away goal.
79th minute - Jozy pulls a hand-foot-big toe but his balance fails him. A little to heavy on that one. should have stuck to an easy Cow Face and it would have been a sitter. A few moments later, Jozy tries to Salute the Sun but skies it to the moon. He is really looking stiff out there.
Must be the case. Because they havent looked threatening at all. Not a whole lot of urgency. And Benschop is really nothing special. But I think that was pretty well know.
AZ with no attempt to break out when they win it in a good spot. Kept playing backwards and letting the defense get settled. Jozy was hardly involved - kept possession a few times, tried to draw a foul when he could have stayed up and held it up a bit.
Let's not overreact, shall we? AZ midfield needs to be sorted out before Altidore will be able to do much.
I agree there are some games he looks loose and athletic, others he looks like his range of motion is of a 70 year old. maybe he is lifting weights too close to games
It is weird; I never seen him look like this before. Nothing is wrong his touch it is just his movement for me.
They were also without two key attackers. I still think the main problem they have is that Wernbloom is not an authoritative traffic director. I also think Maartens belongs out wide left, pushing Elm and Wernbloom up in midfield - they just don't have a meaty DM in the squad. As for the Hull City type jibes up the thread, AZ did beat PSV 11 days ago, ya know. It was just a bad night away against a fired up team.
