C.F. Monterrey (Mexico) C.S.D. Comunicaciones (Guatemala) Seattle Sounders FC (USA) C.S. Herediano (Costa Rica) Discuss...
I hope the group is unpredictable and exciting with the Sounders moving on. Predictions? meh, no clue besides I am confident that Monterrey will move on. Seattle should be better off than last year, but that doesn't mean they will get the results to advance. The whole team is more experienced and the roster is actually stronger than the previous year. So who knows.
I see Monterrey as the clear #1, but everyone else has a legit shot for 2nd. 1. Monterrey 2. Herediano 3. Seattle 4. Comunicaciones
Dont normally post on this forum but im freindly anyways here is my pred for this group Monterey on top 2nd is really between Seatle and Herediano and then Comm not far behind but I dont think they will move on

The Sounders have to come out strong in their home games if they expect to advance. Can't count on points in later games.
Turthfully, I'll be a little surprised if Seattle makes it out of the group stage. This is a very difficult group.
Yeah there were people saying they'd make it out of group stages last year too. I was openly mocked for saying we were the underdogs of the group. The schedule does favor us a little at least. Last year our very first home game was against Monterrey. We promptly lost 2-0 and went on the road for a few losses and that was pretty much the end.
Monterrey is the clear favorite. Herediano is the clear minnow. The fight for second place will be interesting, though, as Seattle will struggle with the rain*, the elevation, and the Ultra Sur. Los Cremas won't know what to make of the astroturf in Seattle. Pick 'em. Yes, I know it rains every damn day in Seattle, but you don't really know rain until you've lived through a Guatemalan rainy season. That pitch is going to be a mess.
In terms of actual rain, Seattle isn't even top 10 in the United States We have tons of cloudy days though.
what central American teams have on their side..is the heat and humidity... It just saps everything from you... feels like the Hyperbolic time chamber during the summer.
While that's certainly true in most of Honduras, it's not in Guatemala City or San Jose, which are both up in the mountains.
Seattle playing their reserves/bench players + Montero, Fernandez, and Riley. I'm switching over to the LA game.
Christopher Sullivan is so depressing to listen to. He is making me question all of my major life decisions.
i would almost say fucito is a starter, since he is one of our few forwards that can finish.... (vs. noonan, jaqua, etc.)
