    TICKETS: $15.00

PAYMENT METHOD: Via Paypal to jigiel@nealon.com If you are unable to use paypal please directly contact Jay Igiel (contact information is below)

HOTEL: There is no group hotel package. However, many of us will be staying at the Crown Plaza Redondo Beach http://www.cpredondobeachhotel.com/. This hotel is next to the Best Western we have stayed at in the past. We stay at Redondo Beach because we drink at http://www.najasplace.com/Najas_Beta/Our_Menus.html which has 88 or so beers on tap.

RENTAL CAR: It is LA so a rental car is a must.

    D.C. UNITED VS. KANSAS CITY
    SUNDAY, August 21, 2011 at 6:00

Three great reasons to make this trip:

    1) Check out the new stadium which many are calling the best in MLS
    2) We always have a great time in KC there is a large entertainment/bar district right next to the hotel and stadium
    3) Airfare right now is about $210 if you take the 6:00 am flight back Monday morning

    TICKETS: $22.00

PAYMENT METHOD: Via Paypal to jigiel@nealon.com If you are unable to use paypal please directly contact Jay Igiel (contact information is below)

HOTEL: There is no group package, but there are two hotels very close by to the stadium.

Best Western Premier KC Speedway Inn & Suites (Right Next to the New Stadium)

    D.C. UNITED VS. PHILLY
    THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 29, 2011 8:00 pm.

Despite this match being on a Thursday we are traveling. We will have a ticket only option and a bus + ticket option. The bus would leave promptly at around 3-3:30. The cost will be somewhere around $75.00. It will return after the game.

We will have further details soon. PLEASE BE ADVISED: That we can only run a bus if we have sufficient numbers. That means that everyone needs to sign up and pay as soon as the trip is announced. If we do not have the numbers to get our own bus we may do a joint bus with the Screaming Eagles. Spots on the bus will be 1st come 1st serve. If you wait (like many did for NY) there will either not be a bus or we will split a bus the Eagles and have a limited amount of seats.

Boo, just bought my tickets for Kansas City the day before I saw this thread. Thought there wasn't travel for this game. Would be nice to know a little more in advance next time.

The decision to go to KC was made while we were in San Jose for the match. The airfare ($212) made it extremely tempting and a return flight on Monday at 6am caused us to decided to make this a last second trip.

So Victory, when you say that the Best Western is right next to the stadium, do you really mean it? Meaning, can we walk to the stadium? I've been planning to make the Chicago/KC swing since I saw the schedule, but I haven't actually made the plans yet.

Kansas City is cool - wish I could make it with y'all. I was there Memorial Day weekend when they were putting the finishing touches on the stadium, and it looked fantastic. There was a Hooters close by (where I ended up watching the Barca/ManU Champion's league final), and everyone there was really friendly. The shopping plaza where it is at, Legends, is pretty big, so I'm sure there will be plenty of watering holes. Enjoy.

Planning to go to the Chivas game - just checking to see how many will be coming with me. Would it be advisable for me to bring a 5-year old? She's a die-hard United fan and has been going to games at RFK since she was two -- but I've never taken her to an away game before. I'm just not sure what to expect from the Chivas fans.

Chivas usually puts us in a corner acrossed the field from the Chivas fans so we don't have any problems. We usually have a good turn out for the away matches in LA. We have a good contingent of fans from Southern Cali that join us that fly in. Pontius's family will probably sit with us as they are from the Anaheim area. Last year we had over 100 fans most of which were friends and family of Pontius. So I don't see a problem bringing a five year old to the match.

Sorry to jump in here, but thought this could affect you guys if you're coming to KC. And I'm sure you guys are already aware, but anyway, the game in KC is now at 7:30 CST instead of 6.

Will be checking thread daily (if possible) to make sure to get two tickets for Philadelphia match. Will be driving 12 hours to make it so no need for bus tickets. Very excited for this.

Davies also had family at the LA game, but I dont think they were with us. Some of the guys usually bring little ones, but language is sometimes a problem. All the matches Ive been to there have been no real problems. I'm hoping to make the game, just need to make sure I have the finances.

DC06 make sure you PayPal Jay aka Victory for the two tickets you want. Once we get closer to game day, he will send out an email as to how to pick up your tickets the day of the match.

My gf and I, So-Cal residents, will be there. So that's 2 more to add to the list.

Anyone know what section the Chivas folks are putting DCU fans in yet?

typically we are in 138/139 area. Close to the tunnel, directly across from where the Gals put us.

Jay and I are back from KC. Jay said we don't have a section for the Chivas match yet b/c no one has ordered any tickets through him. So please start ordering your Chivas tickets through him.
