Schalke really pressing. Unbelievable reaction save from Ulreich, Stutt keeper.

75' This Stuttgard GK is 'standing on his head' last over the last couple of
    minutes.
Jones with his 3rd giveaway in the last 4 minutes as he is spraying the ball forward -one timing his passes. But poorly delivered when they need control.
Schalke pressing game is entirely on their side of he field now and unless GK can continue this they should get 1.

Jones has made some panicky one-time kicks when sensing pressure in midfield. Most are giveaways. IMO, this is not unusual for him and is a weakness in his game.

Jones with a nice run into space on the attack. His cross is deflected out for a corner that is not converted.

82' Jones wins a corner after a rare foray forward and a diagonal run to the flag....I was wondering where/why no Schalke player was making these runs, they seem to be waiting for someone to play the ball up the flanks.
Unfortunately, nothing comes of the corner.

Yeah he had one where he booted it hard upfield to no one that resulted in a GK.

Nice move Jones right touchline. Dips shoulder centrally, then turns down the line, trys cross and earns a corner. Nothing comes of it.

Later - good through ball by Jones, but cannot be handled and turned into opportunity by Schalke forward.

He can pick out a pass given time.

Stuttgart with half chance to go 3-0, but no.

    85'

Certainly over that 5 minutes of time...that is for sure. It seemed like he was expecting Donovan to make a sprint from the wing or something...but his team is quite stationary.
85' Phew a counter by Stuttgard just missed some quality in a lobbed ball over gk.

Stuttgart attacker one on one against the keeper, tries to chip him and misses. How many wide open chances can Schalke give up this match?

Okazaki with a heck of a goal from just outside the box. 3-0 now.

'88. Jones gets ball centrally with momentum going forward. Good touch to control, but then plays it too far on the move and loses it. His close control is not great.

    Fantantisches Tor, Okazaki. 3-0. Spiel.

Yes, there's a serious hype over Japanese players here right now.
    Everyone wants to have one.

Even Hannover got one for our U23. :D

Japanese players are a good match (style of play) for the Bundesliga. That's why there are so many.
