    -----------------------fernandez-----------------------

    revodero---------acasiete--------rodriguez----------vilchez

    --------------------balbin---------cruzado-----------------

    --------------------------ramirez--------------------------

    farfan----------------------------------------------vargas-

    --------------------------guerrero--------------------------

    ---------------------------fernandez--------------------------

    -----zambrano-------------acasiete-----------rodriguez

    carmona------------cruzado--------------balbin------------vargas

    ----------farfan----------------------------guerrero--------------

    -----------------------------pizarro-------------------------------

After 3 "official rebuilding" threads and some 3,000 posts we can finally say this:

    We are rebuilding, alright.

Easy there fellas, were just getting started. We have a COMPETITIVE team that won't be easy to beat, but we haven't won anything YET. To say that we can be better than the 70-80s generation is too much. We don't have near the same talent of those generations, but we play well as a team and can do some damage

Quick question: do you change a winning formula? Meaning, even if you guys lose out in Semi or Finals, what then to do with Pizarro/Farfan/Mendoza for WCQ? BETTER YET, how do you get your federation to not F%$ it up? The "premios" at this point for Peru must be crazy. The FPF who draws up the contracts probably always draws up some crazy "si llegan a semifinales es US$500k".... knowing that would never happen...jaja, now they are going to have to pay up.. they better not split up this Peru team...

i'd venture to guess that our CA adventure have pretty much confirmed depth, of which was lacking for how many years now?:)

there's viable players to now bring to the WCQs but at this point, i think mago wanted to test the waters with potential weapons and so far, it's looking good.

Oh hell yes!!! Just imagine Vargas on the left and Farfan on the right wing. Farfan has been the best player for Peru under Markarian. I was looking forward to see that duo on the wings on a game, I hope to see it on WCQ

    Farfán - starter
    Pizarro - bench
    Mendoza - out

FPF has been silent these days, which is good

    nero, what?

Man, we've been playing the likes of Jamaica, T&T for a while now and we sucked before :D

Sure it helps, but this is all Markarian...tactics, planning, influence, compromise, etc, etc, etc...

Yeah, but neither are anywhere close to the senior team right now.

Not surprisingly, Alianza's U-20 actually had older and better talent and have a few guys (Paolo Hurtado definitely, maybe Cristofer Soto and Jorge Bazan) that can break into the senior team within the next year.

When Pizarro, Farfan and Ramirez come back, I think the last two start right away. Guerrero has benched Pizarro at this point. And I don't think they should play together.
